Would recommend!!
The sound quality of the Huawei FreeBuds is crisp and clear, with a great balance of bass and treble. They feel premium and comfortable to wear, making them perfect for everyday use. At this price point, they offer excellent value for money, delivering quality that feels similar to the Apple version. Definitely a great buy for anyone looking for high-quality wireless earbuds without breaking the bank!

Wow
First impressions they seem fantastic you can customise the gestures and eq through the app and they are comfy and sound seems good at a very reasonable price as well. They look just like apple airpods being the android equivalent. At the moment I cannot fault them. Time will tell within the coming weeks but for now I recommend them to anyone looking for affordable earpods. A bonus is they work with any android phone, I'm using them on a samsung galaxy s24 ultra with no issues as I didn't want to pay the high price of samsung earpods.

The best cheap buds I have found.
My four stars takes into account the low-ish price. Minus one star for the lack of a 'state of charge' indicator despite having the biggest charging box of them all.I have two other pairs of cheap look-alike buds and these are head and shoulders above them for sound quality but please don't think that means they sound good in hi-fi terms; they don't. A decent pair of WIRED open-back buds, at a similar price should wipe the floor with them. I compared them with my First audio Piano Forte II buds (£30.62) and I would never choose to listen to these Huawei buds if I had a choice. I can ENJOY music on the Piano Forte buds whilst the Huawei buds are simply a convenient way to listen to something on the move without trailing wires and without them sounding awful. The chief problem is the lack of low-level detail which robs voices and strings (in particular) of their texture. They also truncate dying echoes which takes away the realism and sense of 'air' and space that good earphone/headphone can provide. The highest frequencies are also missing and that takes away the sparkle - especially obvious on cymbals. They have a very good tonal balance with bass at just the right level. Double basses don't get lost in the mix as they often do but the buds are incapable of portraying the awesome power of a full orchestra.Their failings are acceptable at this price and I found that I stopped noticing them after a while, so it was no longer annoying. That sounds like I am damning them with faint praise but what I am actually mean is that they are pretty good value for money. Unless you are a musician or a hifi buff you are unlikely to notice anything missing. There certainly is but I would probably buy another pair if I lost these and that says something.

Reddit approved replacement for Airpods Gen2
I bought these to replace my gen 2 airpods. I have enjoyed using my airpods that I bought in May 2020 and use daily. Unfortunately the battery life is not what it used to be and they are not usable anymore. What I enjoyed about them was the perfect fit in ear (no silicone), the touch controls and the connectivity especially with the apple watch. I have no desire for new features like noise cancelling. I would buy again - only the fact is that the tech is aged a further 4 years and the price has actually gone up £125 to £129. Airpod gen 2 are currently greatly over valued in my opinion and I will not buy them out of principle.Enter the FreeBuds. They have a very similar fit and feel to the Airpods although ever so slightly larger and slightly heavier. I can picture forgetting they are there just like I do with Airpods. I can also run with these and wont lose them. The touch controls are very responsive and are programmable via the app. The sound quality is slightly richer than the airpods. The box is slightly larger. The build quality is not as good (some inconsistent gaps, there was some dirt inside the packaging and the lid of the box has a cheap feel). Battery life seems impressive. Switching across to Apple watch not too painful actually. No "find my" integration, but there is an option to play sounds to locate them using the app. Overall, on technicals alone the Airpods do win ever so slightly for my usage. However, the price point of these is excellent. At £30 (bought "like-new"), I am easily willing to bet that 4x of these will do the job longer than 1 set of airpods (how on earth did I not lose my airpods is a miracle) and so its very much a "buy now" from me.

Brilliant.
I've used these for over a year now. I cannot fault them. Reliable, good fit, great sound and long battery. Definitely recommend.

Partial success
Great sound, good connectivity, comfortable. But the volume adjust doesn't work on the earphones (achieved by sliding, but I only know that through internet research, the guide makes no mention). Also the app is banned in the UK, so you can't customise anything.Returning for a refund.

Excellent value for money
Do you know what, I am a real person and this is a bot review. I'm a bit tight with money, especially these days. For £40 these ear buds are ace. I can't be doing with the ones that have the plastic lug thing on em, I can hear my own foot steps in my head, annoying.Anyway these are well worth the doh, clear and lovely base. Aavery food.
