I was reluctant to try this self assembled box spring, because first of all there weren’t any springs involved, and secondly I am a baby boomer and have never had any other kind of box spring besides the rigid old school kind, but I needed something in a hurry and the price was right so I ordered it. It went together easily and was surprisingly sturdy. A another big plus was I didn’t need anyone else to help me like I would have with a traditional box spring. If I ever need another box spring, I would order one of these again for sure.

This product was good, very good In fact. It was well packaged with easy to follow instructions. Assembly was a breeze, all the holes lined up perfectly!! 10 out of 10, would recommend!!

Was pretty easy to assemble and seems pretty sturdy. Definitely a lot easier to take down and move somewhere new

I ordered a metal box spring and I must say it is awesome it is quiet it was very easy to put together it comes with all the tools it took about good 20-30 minutes to assemble My son-in-law put it together I did not but it was it's of good quality and the first night on it I could sleeping on it I could tell the difference from the wooden box spring that originally came with my bed it was very quiet I did not hear the squeaking noise of the wooden box spring that loves used to hearing when I got off my bed and now I sleep so peacefully and I would recommend this project this box spring to anybody that wants a quiet night of sleep without noise or moving around in the bed with on that wooden box spring. Also it was very inexpensive so if you're looking to get a product of good quality I would recommend ordering this box spring I love it and yes I would order it again. The height of the box spring I thought maybe I had ordered the wrong height but it was perfect for my mattress it fits exactly perfect on my queen size bed I have no problems with it The labeling if the functionability of it is awesome and the metal is it's perfect it's there's nothing sticking out to poke you and there is a cover that comes with it that covers up the mattress so you don't see that it is actually metal it looks just like a mattress it has a mattress cover that goes over it and it also comes off so you can throw it in the washing machine and wash it and put it in the dryer and then put it back over the metal once it's dry.

Assembly wasn't difficult, but this is no box spring. It is a platform of unbearable bars that have no "give" to them at all. It is more of a platform. It is terribly uncomfortable, rigid and hard. To call this thing a spring is misleading. It's no spring at all. I regret this purchase, and would recommend this item for use in gorilla cages in the local zoo. Terrible product, a solid immovable metal platform. Nothing more. I regret this purchase, and will likely discard this item to the local landfill. It's uncomfortable, un yielding, and offers nothing but a hard iron series of bars to rest upon. Might work great in punishment cell bedding in a North Korean prison. Absolutely terrible, misleading product. Don't Buy... unless you enjoy sleeping on solid iron. A little alteration and welder, you'd have a nice shark cage

I got this to replace old box springs ahead of a mattress replacement on a ~25-year-old Ethan Allen king bed. I needed low profile (2-inch deep) otherwise we'd need a ladder to get into bed! So far so good after a week. As promised, it doesn't make noise either. This product seems to be available elsewhere but I bought from SHLAND due to their precise width measurement of "75.6 inches" which proved accurate (see photo). If you are replacing box springs check the width of your bedframe carefully - "king" bed frames can be surprisingly different widths and lengths. Other listings are a bit "loosey goosey" with the measurements which might mean the box spring/platform isn't supported by your bed frame. SHLAND's dimensions told me I should keep the wooden supports from our bedframe, which also happen to include center supports.The long pieces arrive in the box folded up, and you unfold them before bolting everything together. I found the instructions straightforward and easy except for the middle braces. The diagram appears to show bolts inserted from above but they are too short. You have to either insert from below, or place the bolts inside the brace as I did, so it goes through the lower hole only (see photo). That's fiddly but not a big deal.

Well built, easy to assemble...only complaint it slides all over the bedframeGreat alternative if your bedroom doesn't allow you.access with a standard box spring.... probably stronger than most preassembled wooden models

Sturdy, easy to assemble. Fits perfectly with the base that I had to give it height to the bed. It does make a little noise and it’s a little bit longer than my mattress but it’s not noticeable
