This is a perfect sized replacement for the one we had that broke, and it's quality made.In fact, it may be just a touch thicker that the original.IT IS tricky to INSTALL. I read some other reviews and then did this, which worked great.I took an exacto knife and very carefully sliced off about 1/16 of an inch, with just a little 'slope' from the top to the tip, on ONE OF THE PEGS at the top of the box.While I was doing that, I was running the plate cover under hot water in the sink.Then, I took it right outside, slipped it over the first peg and then pushed just a little in the middle of the top of the cover while I also pushed it down over my slightly shortened 'sloped' peg and it went right on the first try.It's a nice fit and works perfectly. You can't visibly see that one peg is a little shorter, but the combination of that slight trim on the peg and the warm plastic being more pliable, made the installation easier without cracking or breaking the brand new cover.I hope you find this helpful!

WORKS GREAT AND FITS MY OUTDOOR OUTLETS, WILL BE CERTAINLY LOOKING TO REPLACE THEM ALL SINCE I HAVE HAD SUCCESS WITH THE ONE THAT I RECENTLY PURCHASED. HAD A DIFFICULT TIME FINDING IN THE HARDWARE STORE AND THIS WAS EASIER AND A GREAT PRICE AS WELL.

I have two outside GFCI outlet boxes that the covers both broke on. After searching Amazon and checking the dimensions, I found these. I ordered two and they came next day. Perfect fit for my old ones! I did file the nibs down a little on the box where they connect the door to the box because the fit was tight and I did not want to break them while installing. Went in perfectly. Could not be happier.

This fit perfect to replace my old broken exterior outlet cover. It now looks brand new as well. My outlet is back to being weatherproofed again!

So thankful to find these outlet covers on Amazon. Could not find them in any stores around me They would need a desperately for a project I was doing. Fit perfectly great replacements for the originals. Very sturdy hard plastic covers for my outlets.

Didn’t have to mess around with it. Just snapped it into place like it should and it fit perfectly. I love when that happens. Not a drop of water has gotten to the outlet. Buy these.

Although a little pricey, this outlet cover is sturdy and well-designed. It is easy to install. Hold it in front of the existing outlet cover box, place fingers against the left- and right-side edges and your thumbs in the middle. Apply enough pressure with thumbs to cause a slight bend and slip one side and then the other on the little nubs to fit it on. Done.

Our old cover was hard to get off (latch at the bottom had broken off and was flapping in the wind). I sprayed the hinges with WD-40 and was able to pry it off with a flat blade screw driver (up by the hinges). The new cover slid on with the help of a flat blade screw driver too. The WD-40 which I had applied earlier helped it slide into place easier. It looks amazing and fits nice and tight. Took less than 5 minutes to replace.
