I've bought these several times for work and now most recently for home. A terrific assortment of high-quality fasteners that come in 3 plastic carrying cases with handles, and the cases interlock to create a single unit with a handle that makes it easy to take them with you to a job site. A surprisingly small footprint considering the variety and number of fasteners that are included.

The Jackson Palmer 2200 piece hardware set is a nice assortment. From small to larger pieces, you're bound to find what you're looking for. Pros: I like that the hardware is split up per case with screws, SAE, and Metric contained in their own trays. The individual compartments can be made larger by removing the dividers between compartments. This will allow for larger items to be stored in the case. This set also came with four empty trays to store your own hardware. This was nice as I had hardware in several different places around the shop. Having them in one convenient location makes it easier to find and it keeps your shop more organized. The individual cases snap together to carry as if they were one case. There is not a limit to how many cases you can snap together. The kit comes with a paper sheet identifying the assorted hardware contained in each case. This is probably a good idea as once the hardware is used up, you'll most likely be placing different hardware in the case. Cons: The clips holding the cases together are made of plastic. If one breaks, it will most likely cause the case to not attach to another case from that point forward so be careful. The cases can be a bit tricky when snapping together as you have to slide the case under four individual plastic clips on the sides of the case. Once they're all in place, you just need to slide the front latch up to secure the cases from sliding out. Keep in mind that too many cases snapped together will eventually break a snap down the road, given the compounded weight from each case. So, you'll want to keep them to a minimum. The cases do not have the assorted hardware labeled on each case. Overall, this hardware set is very nice and meets my needs around the shop. It is a great portable option when on the go. I recommend this hardware set to those that diy and for those that are looking for a nice assortment of small hardware.

This is a fantastic set of fasteners for a homeowner. I'm sure you could go to Home Depot or Lowes or somewhere and buy all these and probably save a buck or two, but that's not what this is. This kit is a small set of three boxes that interlock together, and you can keep it in a closet or garage. It has the most common fasteners that you would need in a home. Obviously, these are not things you're going to dangling from a helicopter with, but for the regular homeowner, this will cover about 95% of what you would need. As I have gotten this, I'm thinking it would make a great housewarming gift for young people. Give them this, and a cordless driver or drill. After that, all they need is some skills, but those come with experience. The boxes looked bigger in the pictures, but that's actually a good thing. This is a good kit for the money!

Cheap price and good to have around, you never know what you’re gonna need and this comes in handy!!!

I ordered this the other day, and it just arrived. Very pleased with the assortment of hardware. I should have gotten this years ago. Would have saved a lot of time looking for the right piece of hardware for projects. It comes in three trays. One for SAE, one for metric, and a third that is an assortment of metal and wood screws. Great collection, and they look well made.

I’m very glad I got this set, and would certainly recommend it. This is a nice selection of quality hardware, especially for the price. Very handy to have around for repairs and projects. The bins are fairly full, but there’s room to add things if you need them – lock washers for instance, or hardware you already have laying around in other containers. Some negative reviewers complained the hardware sizes weren’t labeled on the lid. I considered this a plus. The cases are completely customizable, so you can reorganize or sort as desired. If you’re unfamiliar with hardware, there is a list in each case telling exactly what is in each section as shipped. If you know the difference between a 10-32 and a ¼-20, it’s not an issue. I purchased one additional empty case for other hardware that I use. The plastic cases are very sturdy, easy to take to a project site or just keep in the garage. As pictured, the cases latch together – great if you’re taking several somewhere, but a little awkward to use that way. Some reviewers have reported quality issues with the cases, I have not had any problems. Mine close and latch perfectly every time, and if you follow instructions they interlock and stay together with no difficulty. I’d say I would buy this again, but I think the cases will last a long while and will likely not need replacing. And of course if you use up a particular item, there are plenty more to replenish the collection at your local hardware store.
