My ceramic bread box is everything I wanted and even more than I expected! A loaf of bread fit into it perfectly and the fat chef is so cute! It was well packaged and I received it in perfect condition and less than a week from the date I ordered it. I highly recommend this item. When I ordered this bread box, I was hoping that the back side would be blank -- but as my photo shows, it has two apples. I like the two apples more than I like just the one. I'm surprised because normally I like kitchen items that are all one color.Easily holds a loaf of bread, but the lid is a little annoying. You have to position it just right for it to close properly. Not a big deal. If you look at the up-close photo, notice the darker areas in the trim. It looks like the person painting it rested the brush and more paint was the result. Makes it more believable it's hand-painted.Arrives well-packed to protect it.

This sits on my kitchen counter like a boss! My entire kitchen theme is the French chef. This just compliments all my other pieces. Absolutely love it

I wish the breadbox toast jar came with a rubber seal under the top so that it won't slam when I put the top on. The paint job on the chef is not perfect but it matches my decor in my kitchen so I'm keeping it.
