Good deal
The item arrived within the expectind time. And it was brand new original piece. But I am disappointed with the game after having played call of duty black ops. I haven't been able to complete a single mission on this one. While the graphics are great, what I didn;t like was that if you die in the middle of a missing you have to start all over again unlike in Call of Duty Black Ops where there are regular checkpoints in a mission and if you die, you don;t go back to the beginning but you start from the last checkpoint. I had played GTA 1 and 2 in PC which was much easier. Of course, I used cheats to earn unlimited health, ammo, weapons. but even without it, it was quite easier to play than in Xbox.

Game is not that great. Controls are a bit confusing to me. But good if we play with cheats like in PC game

Seller loses star for being unspecific; game works perfect
only reason for one less star is because seller did not provide any game booklet/game map that comes with this game. they should specify that these things will not be included in the DVD cover like they should be... almost makes me doubt the authenticity of the game cd. regardless, games works flawlessly with my first gen PS3, have had great fun playing it thus far!

I will not be doing SP spoilers in this review Graphics. Enhanced in both versions, including a useful Night Shadows option Lost and the Damned includes a gritty film filter that adds a fuzzines to the game, like a grindhouse or drive in movie film, its nice looking, but I prefer without Ballad of Gay Tony seems to have higher res textures and character models Sound. Not much diff. from GTAIV, but bigger and enhanced soundtrakcs are a plus Gameplay MUCH BETTER The bikes handle really well in LATD, in fact I rarely drove cars at all. Minigames like gang wars and bike races, pool, cards and arm wrestling are fun too. The campaign is top notch, like Hell Ride meets Sons Of Anarchy. BOGT is awsome as well, its adds in all the rediculous over the top missions that were the standard fare in GTA3, Vice City and San Andreas Like, base jumping, attack helicopters, satchel charges, automatic shotguns, armored cars and more! Must Buy

First, this is a great deal; Hours of quality gameplay for a little $$.... Perhaps because these games are shorter than GTA IV, they are more like games and less like the movie GTA IV was; I respect what Rockstar was trying to do there, but there were certainly some pacing and mission difficulty issues. And while not much has changed as far as the difficulty goes--often escaping the police is more of the hard part--,the pacing has picked up to the point where you feel like you are playing something that maybe would have come just before GTA IV. Very nostalgic, brutal, funny, and un-PC across the board; The Lost and The Damned offers a more hardcore experience, including little side on bike gang fights that reminded me somewhat of San Andreas and the turf wars; The Ballad of Gay Tony is more eccentric, colorful, and more of a throwback even so; the colors are brighter, there is a lot more neon, the free jumping is back from the tallest building you can find......the characters are really strange, but the story, as in TLAD, is very amusing. As always, there are lots of cool things to do; just driving around in the right car in the right weather with the right song can be fun in and of itself; Great new songs, TV shows, Radio Talk, funny billboards, great game cross references, and internet stuff. Gone for the most part are the annoying phone calls in the middle of a gunfight or the mandatory bowling date to move on. Now if they could just move this game to a more colorful setting; I would love to see Rockstar make use of some of things you know it can already do....esp when you look back fondly on GTA III, Vice City, and San Andreas.

I originally bought a strictly for GTA4. The series has always been one of my favorites and Episodes from Liberty City just found a new place in my heart. Episodes from Liberty City is the continuation of the GTA4 storyline, weaving in and out of Niko's storyline. Before buying the game, I replayed GTA and noticed small instances of Johnny and Luis throughout. Many people have complained that the two main characters are not as complelling as Niko, but I feel that their job is not to be complelling, but to add to the already huge Grand Theft Auto Universe. In "The Lost and the Damned" you play as Johnny the Jew, the VP of the Lost Biker gang. Because the story is so short, I will not give away the plot and will just talk about the game play, but if you have ever seen "Sons of Anarchy" on FX, it includes many of the same elements. Many reviews I read prior to buying the game was that "The Ballad of Gay Tony" was the only one worth buying... this would have definitely been a mistake. Though TLAD is run of the mill run and shoot missions just like GTA4, the world is extremely entertaining. The grit system used to give the game a different appearance is extremely effective... the storyline is much more serious and the darkened graphics enhance that. There are a plethora of side missions; stealing bikes, racing using bats, cleaning up "dirty laundry", and leading the Lost in gang wars. Even after the required number of races and gang wars are complete, they continue regenerating, giving what most GTA players are looking for... the ability to fight and drive with some sort of purpose. The game also contains new weapons including a machine pistol, pipe bombs, and the incredibly powerful combat shotgun. This is the first of all the GTAs I have been compelled to complete 100%. In "The Ballad of Gay Tony" you play as Luis, the business partner and bodyguard of Gay Tony. Again, with such a sort story I will not give anything away, but the real purpose of TBoGT is to blow things up. Again there are many new weapons, my favorite being the shotgun with explosive rounds which actually causes cars to fold in on themselves. The game also has numerous things to do outside of the missions, including drug wars, base jumping, club management, and even a dancing minigame. All in all, I'd personally say I enjoyed TLAD more than TBoGT. Both are short, which encourages you to do all of the side missions; most of the time I found myself performing gang wars, races, and base jumps before taking the effort to complete other missions. Because both games continue re spawning gang and drug wars, they both have alot of replay value. TBoGT also allows you to replay missions (similar to Red Dead Redemption) to continue getting higher scores and more achievements. I would recommend both of these games. If you look on Amazon's New and Used section you can find some for cheap that qualify for free shipping too! I got my copy for $28 with free shipping, and it arrived before the expected date. PS If you look in the manual of Episodes, there is a small picture about saying goodbye to Liberty City, with a rip in the corner that gives a hint to the next GTA game! Search online... some people imaged it again the other two games to find out what it means!
