Great toy to get the guys together and see who has the strongest grip. Works well and is pretty simple to use.

I got this as my daughter has become fascinated with exercise and strength training, being my youngest, everyone else in the house is stronger than her and I think it really bothers her, so I've been getting her anything she wants to reduce the disparity between her and the rest of the family. This grip tester is not something that will make your hand happy with you if you try using it to increase your strength. I highly recommend getting various other items to improve your hand strength and using this tester to monitor your progress. it works and does a good job of measuring, although I have nothing else to compare the ratings too.

This is one of those items I didn't know I needed. It's a nice hard case, with a set of hand grip strength tools inside. One of them is a grip strength exercise tool. It has adjustable amounts of resistance so you can set it to your appropriate zone. It's easy to switch so you could share with others in your household. It has a counter on it as well to easily keep track of how many squeezes you do. The other item in the case is a grip strength tester. This is a lot of fun. You can see how strong your grip really is. It has memory spots available for 20 different "users" where you can put in your age and gender and it will give you a slightly customized range of where your grip strength lies, from weak to normal to strong. If your family is competitive, especially if you have teenagers, this can be a fun friendly competition that will lead to more training. This has been used quite often in my home in the last few days. It's something to do easily while watching TV. I am already feeling like my grip is getting stronger, and the tester is a lot of fun to try to beat your high score. It runs on batteries which do come included.

This collection of a grip tester and grip trainer is a great way to improve your grip strength while being able to monitor your progress. A fun way to improve consistently. Both the tester and the trainer seems to be pretty durable, even after using them for weeks there haven't been any problems. No complaints so far.

I didn't look close enough at the images to see that the numbers on the tester did not match the numbers on the item. The name has since been changed, but I included a snip from the email asking me to review it - it said 397 lb / 180kg. The tester maxes our at 90kg/198lb. The trainer says it goes up to 60kg (~132lb) of resistance. Adding those doesn't total to the numbers that were advertised. The quality of the grip trainer is not great. The counter has stopped working and only displays 8888 now. The counter unit is also loose in the handle. The bottom of the grip has a ridge that should have been shaved off, it doesn't feel good to use because of that, especially at full resistance. The cap on the adjustment knob also fell off just a few minutes ago. I have only used it a handful (heh) of times since I received it on October 3rd. Giving 2 stars because they changed the listing name already, but the quality is still not great. Then again, that is to be expected when looking for the cheapest option.

大型バイクに久しぶりに乗ったら、71歳で握力の低下を感じたのでハンドグリッパーでトレーニングしようと検索したら握力計とセットのものが有り成果が見えて良いと思い購入。 握力計を実際に使ったところ幼健式 単針計より数値が少なく表示されると思うが、目安にはなる。 ハンドグリッパーは強さを調節できて長く使えそうで良い、握り幅はでの小さい人でも握れる感じでシニアでも使いやすい。

Really good quality and excellent design for better grip.

久しぶりの握力計で測ってみたら自分の衰えを数値で実感し愕然としました。 少し体力をつけなければと感じました。
