Not only is it more like a pink red than a dark cherry wine red like what is shown in the pictures, it takes more than 3 layers to get to that color. It would be easier to put black as a base layer and then go from there. Extremely disappointing color, but not only that but when I got the package, there was weird nail polish residue all over the bottle. Luckily it was dry, but still. I wish I hadn’t bought it, but it does look lovely over a black polish. The only positive thing I have to say is that I adore the way it applies, very easy, but I have a feeling this polish will quickly become gross and clumpy after a few uses. Extremely unfortunate.

Layered on 2-3 layers.

The nail polish is not the same mahogany red. It's much brighter. Don't buy
