This cartridge is not a real 55A cartridge. It fits into the HP printer, but it does not work correctly. Ink spilled inside the printer and it didn't have the two outer metal clamps on the side like the HP cartridge does. Very disappointing but should have know the price was too good to be tru.

Prince good and a lot cheaper than Staples

I am a teacher and my school is not buying us toners due to budgets... I was not about to drop $250 on the official toner. I reluctantly bought this off brand one. Put it in my printer. It detected it and said "non-hp toner detected", but it still worked! Granted, my printer is quite old. But hopefully this can work for you too. I have a p3015.
