Vaper 19424 Spot Spray Non-Aerosol Sprayer

I use this for Break Kleen. Works great. When done and ready to store, add some lightweight oil (pump or hydraulic) to it and shake it up, that will prevent rust. Easy to use and good size to not have to refill it constantly.

I have a few of these. They work perfectly for solvents, but not for water based fluids as they are mild steel and will rust.

First things first unscrew the nozzle and remove the pin for the fog spray. Now you have the straight stream. That threw me off when I first got this because I couldn't clean much of anything. Real nice volume but you will need a small funnel since it can be a mess to fill otherwise.. Holds a ton of pressure which also means it can be quick to empty. So far I bought a gallon jug and that went quickly, only a little less expensive than cans but I figure that will add up sooner than later.

These are good quality and cheap. I’ve noticed that no matter what brand you buy they’re kind of all the same. I would recommend buying two because usually if this falls off the workbench, it can mess it up, and it usually can’t be used again.

I have three of these. Perfect for brake-cleaner or acetone. Buying brake cleaner by the can is a waste of money and you only get about 20 seconds of spray. Just buy a gallon and use this.

As I had two liquids I needed to spray, this seemed like a good alternative to the SureShot brand because it cost 1/2 as much - 2 for the price of 1! Well, not so much. The quality control person apparently had the day off when the 2 they sent me were produced. The mechanisms were sticky, one of them had a defective/bent fill valve, and one had a damaged seal on the fill top. Because I really needed to use it, I combined parts and gave it a try. Well, the "sticky" trigger caused liquid to continue flowing after it was released. I disassembled the mechanism to see what was going on. The first thing I noticed was debris in the tip keeping the seal from sealing (from manufacturing maybe?) and, even after cleaning that out, the trigger was still "sticky". Anyway, I had to wrap for the day so I just left it on the floor in my shop. When I came out the next day, the thing had leaked commercial engine degreaser all over the floor. I was done. I ended up returning the 2 Vaper sprayers I bought and ordered 1 SureShot (for twice the money) - of course, it works perfectly. Definitely a good example of "you get what you pay for". That said, it is just not a complicated device; I don't understand why Titan Tools cannot make their Vaper better - a little quality control just wouldn't cost them that much. As I have a manufacturing/engineering background, I could have their production/component problems fixed in a couple of days, tops - overall, it seems to be a pretty solid product, but the "little things" kill it. It probably would not cost them any more money to manufacture it correctly and would make them money in the long run by increasing customer satisfaction and reducing their losses due to returns.

just buy bulk acetone fill this thing up. no need to buy expensive cans of brake clean or carb cleaner anymore

I churn through PB plaster cans at an alarming rate with my old motorcycle hobby. I grabbed a dozen bottles of Penetrene and one of these sprayers and I’m away. More money for parts! Works well, I only half fill with fluid and 60 psi pressure and works well for me.
