These are wonderful- no more pain and discomfort from the sharp edges of Apple's poorly designed saucer-shaped Apple Mouse. Depending on the surface you have been used to, you may find that you have to use a slight bit more effort to glide your mouse or find a more slippery surface. [Do not bother with the other plastic holder devised for the Apple Mouse, the hooded 'Mouse Grip', as the hump is not comfortable (I found it painful to my hands that had recently had Carpal Tunnel surgery) and it does not glide well- as the mouse itself is raised too high from the surface.

The mouse grip fit nicely with the Magic Mouse and felt comfortable, so I'm disappointed that it didn't work as expected. It was virtually impossible to coordinate the mouse and on-screen cursor without having to push down (extremely) hard and maintaining that pressure while trying to move the mouse when it was placed in the grip.

It is a good product if you are buying it because you have big hands, but it is not very grippy.

This is a major upgrade for my Magic Mouse! I have large hands and the Magic Mouse always seems to rotate under my hand because it is too small. This base adds some size and ergonomics to the mouse that make it a lot easier and more comfortable to use. I bought two, one white and one black and each matches the white and black Magic Mouse perfectly.

I didn't use my apple magic mouse for a long time because I wasn't used to its flat profile. I wanted to try this base to raise the mouse a bit for comfort. It is easy to attach to the mouse - just press down the mouse into the base which clips on. The material is plastic, but unfortunately it doesn't match the cooler white color of the mouse. It would have been nicer to color match exactly. The mouse can be easily moved around, and the mouse feels a tiny bit more comfortable for the thumb and pinky, and raises the back of the mouse a little. However, sometimes I have to lift the mouse off the table surface to reposition the cursor and it makes the mouse more slippery, requiring more force. That's the biggest reason why I decided not to use the base anymore, as the negatives outweigh the positives. The price is reasonable for its functionality.

The base for the magic mouse is just ok. It makes it feel just a little bit better, but not well enough for me to feel good about using the mouse. I just bought a used magic trackpad for my macbook and that works a lot better.

Works--sort of. Very slippery exterior makes for poor grip. And, it's almost too wide.
