Was a staple of our living room for the first couple years of us having my little guy. He eventually outgrew it and needed a taller scratch post, and never really took to the brush, but it did its time and served its purpose well. Withstood a lot of abuse. Eventually it did start to fray and fall apart, but only after being used heavily, daily for multiple years.

CAT LOVES IT. CISEL ROPE WINDING IS A LOT BETTER THAN CHEWY PRODUCT. CAT USES BRUSH TOO FOR HER FACE.
