This is what I would consider to be a good everyday toner. Having mature combination skin, I need a toner that both clarifies my skin and also provides it with a slight bit of moisturization. Sure, there are days when I'm better off with one that clarifies pores on a much deeper level, and then there are days when I'm best with one that is much thicker and more of a moisturizing essence. But this toner is ideal for me most of the week. It clarifies and balances the skin. It also adds just the slightest bit of moisturization so that the skin is properly balanced. Any extra moisturization that I need, I'll get from my followup skincare products. It's very clean and gentle on the skin. There was no scent that I could detect and seems as though it would be kind to those with more sensitive and problematic skin. Works great with other skincare products. I could easily recommend this to all skin types, but think that it might be best for those with oily and/or problematic skin to those with slightly dry skin. Just as easy to use and as beneficial to men as it is for women. Good for all adult age groups from teens to seniors.

I love this toner so much. I use it at least 4 times per week, and I can't argue with how it makes my skin feel. It's also a plus, that I have had no breakouts since using it.

Modern toners aren't like toners of old. They have quality ingredients and soothe and add moisture back to skin after cleaning. I love using watery toners like this, and in addition to using them alone after cleansing, I also use them with some serums to help the serum absorb faster. A quick splash during the day can add some extra hydration. Watery toners are really a workhorse in my skin routine since they are so versatile. This toner has heartleaf water and other soothing ingredients. It has a mild sweet and floral scent from the ingredients that lingers ever so faintly for about 15-30 minutes, but probably most would not notice it. I find it really sweet and pleasant. It completely absorbs on my skin in a 2-5 minutes, leaving my skin feeling soft and smooth. The ingredients list is gentle and suitable for most skin, but I still always recommend a spot test first just in case; even the most soothing botanicals can be allergenic to some. I recently discovered this toner and decided to give it a try. It has an almost liquid texture with an earthy floral light scent to it. The toner is soothing and comfortable on the skin. It does not leave my skin feeling sticky but, it does leave it feeling oilier the next day. For reference, I have combination oily skin. I apply this with a folded cotton face sheet. I dab it on and it soothes any redness I may have. It also calms breakouts to a minimum for the week. I find it helps but, I need to apply less for my skin type. Otherwise, it is a great toner and has greatly helped my skin.

I bought this thinking it would calm my skin, but instead, it completely threw my skin barrier off. Within a few days, I noticed increased redness, breakouts, and dryness, something I haven’t had in years. I gave it time, but it only got worse. I’ve since learned that this toner contains exfoliating acids (like LHA and PHA), which aren’t clearly emphasized on the label. For anyone with sensitive skin, that can quietly do long-term damage before you even realize what’s happening. There’s nothing special here. No calming, no hydration that lasts, and the formula just doesn’t feel thoughtful or balanced. I’m not surprised it’s quietly disappearing from some shops. A lot of brands are just chasing trends now, and this feels like one of them. I wish I had never put this on my face. If you care about your skin barrier, avoid this.

I’ve never used a skincare product featuring Houttuynia Cordata before, so this toner definitely piqued my interest. The H. Cordata plant is known for its antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and nourishing properties. The toner has a watery consistency and a very pleasant, light minty fragrance. On my skin it feels very refreshing and even though my skin is on the sensitive side, it has been very happy with this product. I have not experienced any adverse effects whatsoever. I apply it by pouring a bit of toner onto the palm of my hand and smoothing it over my entire face and neck, but you can use a cotton round as well if you prefer. As for the value, it is on the more expensive side, but you get 8.45 ounces of a really great product.

I really like this toner! I have oily/combo skin and I feel like this helps to balance it out. I also great breakouts and redness from time to time and not only does it feel so nice and refreshing in the skin, I feel like it cuts back on some of the redness. I always use after cleansing and before my moisturizer and I feel I get more benefits than just cleansing and moisturizer on its own. Good value for the price and amount that you get! It should last for quite a while!

Oohh this toner feels so good on the skin! Any irritation is pretty much soothed by this toner, it’s not harsh and it’s always good to have a nice reliable toner on the days you won’t be using an exfoliate or if you use them in conjunction that too.
