H2D iR Ionic and Infrared Professional Hair Dryer

My trade is hairdressing,I'm quite particular about the hand dryer I use, ive had loads, I chose this because of its infrared & ionic function which is better for the hair.My parlux 3850 failed 2weeks after its 6 month warranty,so I got a ceriotti2500 w dryer as wholesalers dont stock massive ranges to choose from, I wanted a dryer that did more than blast my eardrums & fry dry clients hair.I pitched this dryer with its 1800w motor & infrared(healthy heat & ionic function) against the turbo dryer with its standard heat functions & powerful 2500 w motor.I shampooed & conditioned the same long medium density head of hair twice, performing same method both times,but used the two different dryers, the 2500w standard dryer on full speed & heat took 21min 12 seconds from soaking wet & section dried with a roundbrush(moving through quickly as any concentration on an area too long results in burning the hair.the result was straighter but dull in appearance.I then did exactly the same with the h2d, it took 18 min 17 seconds ,the hair felt healthier & I could hold dryer on an area slightly longer without as many passes ,so in conclusion i'm impressed, this is a 1800w hairdryer that beats a 2500w hairdryer in drying time thus saving money on power & time,also its health benefits are impressive for my clients hair & myself as a hairdresser as it didn't dry my throat,eyes & skin whilst using.I was thinking of getting a t3 for the same qualities but didnt want to spend the extra £100. @ the min,so I reckon if it serves me a bit of time(& its a year warranty) its a bargain,so ill see won't I?

I had such great hopes for this hairdryer but it appeared to be too heavy. It you need to dry your own hair few times a week it is ok.but if you have to style several heads a day you arm, wrist and hand will be in pain. But to pay such money for your own use is not reasonable,there are better cheaper options at the market.It would b ok for a man hairstylist,who regulary attends gym :))) but for women is better to look for something lighter. Overal it's ok.

At first the hairdryer is amazing, but I am now onto my third one having had to have the previous two replaced. The infrared setting stopped working on all three hairdryers and when this happened the heat was never as hot (quite cool) and then took forever to dry my hair. Would not buy this again as really disappointed especially considering how much it costs.

Let's start with the packaging. The box has a very luxurious look to it and is lined with a black flock material. The hairdryer and accessories all fit neatly into it. However, I do feel that a travel bag could have been included to make it easier when transporting this piece of kit around. A box just isn't practicable for this and given the price one could easily have been included.The hairdryer is a tad heavier than the one I use as present but is comfortable to hold and the switches are all well placed. I found the hairdryer vibrated when on the high settings but no-one else has mentioned this so maybe I just got unlucky here. My hair is very thick and usually takes forever to dry but this really did speed up the drying process and my hair was shiny and smooth. Sadly, I did have a little static in my hair though. This is not something I suffer from so it must have been due to this hair dryer. When using the infrared option the hairdryer glows with a bright red light giving a very pretty effect!The H2D tangle brush is brilliant. I've never used one of these before as the high price has always put me off. I have to say they are worth every penny! The one supplied is definitely for right handed people, not sure how comfortable it would be to use if I were left handed.The diffuser works just like all diffusers do. It's always a good accessory to have with your hairdryer as is the concentrator nozzle. I do consider them standard accessories in a kit of this calibre though.To sum up the hairdryer did dry faster and gave a smooth shiny finish to my hair. I could do without the static, the vibrating sensation and a bag could have been included. So, 3 stars from me as this is not a cheap hairdryer so 2 stars lost for these reasons.

So my Mrs is very big on having the right products for her hair, being a woman; who like many other men's partners spends a great deal of pride on their hair, I had to get this right or face death lolSo after a lot of research I found the H2D iR hair dryer and reading the reviews I thought I'd throw caution at the wind and buy it.All I can say is her feedback was that it's simple amazing and that it dries hair in no time,It's very impressive for Afro type hair and dries extremely quickly with the de-tangle brush doing as described with ease.So I would recommend to purchase it now while the price is good and for husbands and men if you want to be in the mrs good books you know what to do 😉

I ordered this hairdryer by mistake, I had thought I had ordered a ghd hairdryer which I was really excited about as I have ghd straighteners which are excellent and when it arrived I was all for sending it back so mad at myself for getting it wrong, but looking at it its a really robust well built dryer, a bit worrying at first when the infrared is working as it looks like your hairs alight but all in all its a great dryer.

The best hair dryer I've bought. I tend to dry on the high setting first and then turn it down to one of the cooler settings. It does seem to dry my hair quicker than my previous hair dryers as well. As long as it lasts its worth the money. If you buy direct from H2D you get a three year warranty but I took the risk and bought from Amazon with a year's guarantee as it was loads cheaper on the daily deal

I only used this hairdryer about ten times before the infrared stopped working. Cannot recommend.
