The Ultimate Android Item Finder – A Must-Have for Tracking Everyday Items
As an avid user of Bluetooth trackers, I can confidently say that the Chipolo ONE Point is by far the best option for Android users, especially if you want a reliable, easy-to-use device to keep track of your essentials. I use it on my Luba 2 robot mower, and it's worked flawlessly!Ease of Setup and Use: The setup process for the Chipolo ONE Point is incredibly simple. With Google's Fast Pair feature, connecting it to your Android device is a breeze. Once connected, you can immediately begin using Google’s Find My Device app, which is available on Android 9 or later with Google Play Services. The app allows you to play a sound through the Chipolo device, helping you locate your missing items in seconds. The tracker is directly attached to my robot mower, and whenever I need to find it, I just pull up the app, and I’m good to go!Perfect for Everyday Use: One of the things I love most about the Chipolo ONE Point is how versatile it is. I use it to track my Luba 2 mower, but it’s perfect for other items too—keys, bags, backpacks, and even kids' toys. The keyring hole makes it super easy to attach it to anything, and once it's there, I don't need to worry about it falling off or getting lost.Loud and Clear Sound: The Chipolo ONE Point packs a punch with its loud 120dB sound, which makes locating your item easy, even from a distance. Whether it’s buried under the couch cushions or somewhere hidden in your yard, the tracker will ring loud enough to be heard from afar, cutting down your search time dramatically.Durability: This tracker is built to last, and I appreciate the water-resistant casing. Whether it's rainy or snowy, the Chipolo ONE Point continues to function perfectly. I can trust it to hold up in all weather conditions, which is essential when I'm tracking items that may be outdoors or exposed to the elements.Long Battery Life and Easy Replacement: The Chipolo ONE Point comes with a CR2032 coin battery that lasts up to a year. And when the battery eventually runs low, replacing it is incredibly easy and doesn't require any special tools. You can replace it in three simple steps, making it hassle-free to keep it running without worrying about constant maintenance. No Subscription Fees: Another great feature is that there are absolutely no subscription fees. Once you purchase the device, you have full access to all its features—there are no hidden costs or additional charges for extra services. This makes it a straightforward and cost-effective solution for keeping track of your belongings.Final Thoughts: Overall, the Chipolo ONE Point is a standout product for Android users. The seamless integration with Google’s Find My Device app, the loud sound for locating your items, the long battery life, and the water-resistant design make it an excellent investment for anyone looking to keep track of their belongings. Whether you’re using it for a robot mower, your car keys, or any other personal item, this tracker delivers every time. Highly recommend!

So far, working great. Only limited testing. No battery life indication.
Adding this to the Google "Find My Device" network couldn't have been easier. It was a far easier task than the process with the Tile devices I replaced which use a custom app. It very reliably shows up in the Find My Device app. It shows me within a reasonable proximity where the device was last seen by my phone. It lets you trigger a sound to find the device. All of that works pretty much flawlessly. What I have not been able to test is how effective the "Find My Device" network really is when you've lost it somewhere in public, like dropping your wallet in the Starbucks as I've done, and then being able to see if OTHERS are sending information about where THEY last detected it. When Google rolled out the network on Android in the middle of last year, the initial feedback was that this worked decently well in very high traffic areas, but Google going much further than Apple (too far, I'd suggest) in trying to protect against using these to secretly track other people made it so that it would not report its location in lower traffic areas, so the utility was sometimes diminished. Recent reviews of these devices seem to report decent trackability in a variety of settings, but I have not been able to personally vouch for how well the network is going to work if/when I lose something. I have lost my wallet twice with the Tile and although there are loads of people with this system, the wallet loss at Starbucks where somebody took it home with them only showed me the Starbucks as the "last seen" and for the other loss it remained where my phone had last seen it. Anyway, the Tile was no more helpful in that first loss than this Chipolo would be even if it's not utilizing other devices for its "last seen" location. I don't recall whether Tile at the time didn't pass on info from others using Tile unless I was paying for the Premium plan, or if it just wasn't very effective. In any case, I believe the Chipolo with Find My Device is going to be AT LEAST as helpful, perhaps more.My one wish -- It would be terrific if it had a way to tell me how much battery is left and when to replace. I realize the only connection to the phone is Google's "Find My Device" app which probably does not offer this as a possibility, thus beyond Chipolo's control. I would actually be willing to install a second app that also connects to the device for no other purpose than telling me the battery's remaining life and alerting me when I need to replace. My nightmare is the device dies and I don't notice, and then I've lost something and can't recover it. I'm not going to remember in a year or two to check that these things are working. Even if such a separate "battery life monitor" app were an optional component, that would be super valuable and because it seems possible to do, I'll dock this a point in hope of this recommendation being noticed, and because it is a genuine downside to the product that there is no way to see how much battery remains and that you're at risk of it running out without you noticing and putting your possessions at risk of loss. And being a Google partner, maybe Chipolo might see it as worthwhile to plead with Google to add this ability to its own Find My Device software maybe with a standard means of devices self-reporting their battery level while pinging the network with its presence. UPDATE: Apparently this feature does exist on Find My Device. Pebblebee's product support indicates their own device showing its battery level in the Find My Device app. Any reason theirs can do this but this one can't? I'll get my year or two out of these devices, but at that time we'll see if Chipolo has added this so that I can know whether to buy another otherwise-great Chipolo or give the Pebblebee a try.

Quality control failed all around - cheap garbage
I don't even know where to start with this product it is so terrible. First of it is pain to pair them with your phone, took me over an hour of just the device keep saying failed to pair. Once you have them connected it only apparently works on the phone you paired with and can only be paired with one phone, even through it is bind to your google account. What if my phone is lost too. Really idiotic. I should be able to see it from any device I have logged into my google account on. The we get to the actual hardware. The button goes off by the slightest nudge and it is the size of the entire device. So if you put it on your keyring expect it to constantly ring in your pocket. The battery only lasted for a week before needing replacing, what is the point of the device if it never has battery. Oh and the range of where you can detect it is really low, about 5ft. Most of the time it just saying cannot be found. Last but not least after about 2 months they started bricking themself. In short stay away from this product I have never seen such a bad product when it comes to QA on amazon in my 10 years of using the site.
