Light & sturdy keypad case
Pleased with my purchase as the Item was better quality than i expected. A lovely smooth outer case, light but sturdy, which fitted my iPad perfectly & the keypad i found easy to use. You can also detach the keypad to use iPad alone which i found use full at times. The whole keypad case is so compact it is very easy to transport and use anywhere!

Good value keyboard
I have an iPad, 7th gen, 10.2", 7th gen - more specifically the A2197 model. This keyboard/case fits well and looks well-designed to protect the iPad. I bought this model - for a few pounds more - because it was very clear about being a UK keyboard layout. Some vendors hide behind "QWERTY" - but that has nothing to do with layout. A UK keyboard has a "£" key above numeral "3" and the "#" and "@" keys are in the right place if you iPad defaults to "UK keyboard usage". Not an issue for some - fair enough - but I often use £, @ and # for fairly obvious reasons in the UK, and I have 7 or so other computers all with UK keyboards, so I am resistant to accepting a US-layout. Anyway, I already have an Inatek keyboard (UK) that is for our other iPad (9.5", 6th gen, 2018) and it has been OK, but it does miss the occasional key press, but not so badly I'd get upset. This new keyboard/case seems better at getting key presses. It's a bit "clacky" but that is no big deal - if I need to type a lot on a decent machine I'd use one of my Windows PCs or laptops! But the iPad is handily more portable. The slightly different kick-stand/removable keyboard-base feature is OK, but I doubt I will bother to use it as a separate part. The downside is that the whole thing ends up with a slightly bigger footprint than the Inatek unit. No big problem even in bed, and maybe better on desk. It is too soon to report on mechanical reliability for either of my Inatek keyboards, and the same with battery longevity. I suspect I can prise either unit apart with a bit of thought, when the time comes to put in a new lithium battery and from experience, I'm sure it will be a COTS part I can find. The extra row of keys - home, volume, brightness etc is handy. So to sum up, item I do like this keyboard/case (for iPad A2197). It works well. It is well-made. It is not floppy. The keyboard is fixed to the case "flap" which is good (no need to adjust keyboard position when opening or closing, no risk of dropping anything). The battery charge life gives you many, many hours before you need to plug in a microUSB lead to recharge.

Excellent
Love it. Build quality is very good quite tactile. Fits my iPad perfectly. The keyboard attaches to the left hand side. The magnetic strength is powerful and secure. Bluetooth connectivity is extremely easy once paired it’s just a case of switching keyboard on to use. I found no delay with the keyboard when using it. I’m a light user and charge it every few days. Overall a compatible, portable and suits my purpose of use.

Great little case
I wasn't sure how good the case would be from reading some of the reviews. It is a great product. The magnet that holds both parts together is stronger than I thought it might be. No problems with it coming apart so far. Very easy to connect and not as heavy as I thought it would be.

The Best Keyboard Case
The best cheap keyboard for my iPad. As the last one I brought stop working after a month. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a cheap keyboard but doesn’t feel or look cheap. The weight of the keyboard and case is nice it is not to light or too heavy. It also fit very nice.

Plastic frame is brittle and snaps easily.
I am sad to say that this product has disappointed me.. The keyboard functions perfectly, the typing experience is honestly surprisingly good. The case, however, is not the greatest quality. The plastic is thin and rather brittle, it snapped just below the kickstand hinge upon opening it after merely 6 months of casual use. The case and keyboard have been well-cared for, being transported in a sleeve, and never dropped or handled without care. I am disappointed this keyboard-case did not last longer, the brittleness leaves me with doubts at its ability to protect the iPad in the event of a real fall/drop.

Good product but dont be fooled into thinking its a 10/10
So! As an Apple geek and someone who genuinely appreciates quality products, I can say with certainty that this product is something I consider good! I believe in honest reviews in the hope that someone reading them finds this helpful and accurate. For an iPad keyboard, the typing feel is smooth — the buttons are pleasant to touch, not too shallow and not too tacky either. In terms of typing experience, I’d rate it 9/10. Now for the other parts — this keyboard is Bluetooth-based, so it’s understandable that you have to charge it, unlike a Smart Connector one. It’s normal for it to take a second to connect, but I’d say this keyboard surprisingly connects faster than most other Bluetooth keyboards — that’s definitely a plus; compatibility is great - 9/10 About the mechanism that holds the iPad in place and at an angle — it’s not made of metal (where wear is barely noticeable), but rather from a material that shows a visible crease from the first time you open the back support. It’s noticeable to the eye and a bit annoying, though not a major issue - 7.5/10 The magnetic strap is a great feature, but I feel like I can’t fully trust it. The magnetic force isn’t weak, but it’s not strong enough to stay attached if you deliberately test it — for example, if you swing it, it will fall. - 8/10 This keyboard also has a magnetic strap meant for using the case alone (without the keyboard), which is convenient for tasks like drawing or using a stylus. However, since there’s no dedicated space for the Apple Pencil, I think the design could be improved to better incorporate a spot that securely holds the pen as well - 8/10 The trackpad is good, but not great. It’s responsive enough for casual use — scrolling, gestures, and basic navigation work fine — but it’s not as smooth or precise as Apple’s own Magic Keyboard. You can definitely get work done with it, though sometimes it may feel a little less sensitive around the edges - 8/10 The colour of the product is exactly what I thought it would be. 10/10 I’m adding some pictures for those curious about how the product looks in real life!

It’s a bit temperamental!
Although I like the look and features of Apple’s Magic Keyboard, I couldn’t quite bring myself to shell out £300 for one. I watched reviews on alternatives on YouTube and browsed here on Amazon. I settled for this Inateck case as it seemed reasonably priced with a good spec. Pairing the keyboard case with my iPad Pro was fairly easy. The case came slightly charged, which was good. Although the 2 part design is good (the iPad it protected when it’s separated) there are a couple of negatives points: It’s way too heavy - iPads aren’t meant to be cumbersome There are glitches that ruin the experience. For eg, the space bar is temperamental and words don’t always separate - I have to press the suggested word on my iPad. I can’t type as quickly as I can on my MacBook Air as I’m always slowing down to make corrections from the temperamental space bar. I now realise that I’ll just have to save up and buy the real deal as this glitchy keyboard is already getting on my nerves.
