Top quality camera and monitor and excellent customer support.
Now that I have my Haloview fully installed I love it. Top quality camera and monitor work great together and allow us to clearly see what is behind whether just driving or backing up. The wireless signal from the camera to monitor is rock solid- we have never lost the image or even seen any stuttering on screen. And the image quality is excellent day and night. We just took a trip out to Bodega Bay this evening and coming home around dark the image switched from natural color to IR black and white automatically as we passed through dark tree covered spots. Having never installed a backup camera before I had a number of questions and the Haloview staff answered all of them promptly, sometimes creating a short video to show me how to operate various functions. The included instruction manual covers the basics but if you have questions be sure to ask and Haloview will likely get back to you same day with answers. We suffered a rear end collision by a hit and run driver recenly which inspired us to look for a backup camera. Bought a $30 MicroSD card for the the Haloview and it is now recording when we drive so we have a record of anything that happens behind us. If we had it when rear ended we would have recorded the license plate of the slimeball who drove off after smashing the rear end of our Sprinter. And to repeat, the image quality on the 7” monitor is excellent. Highly recommended!

Easy install and works better than expected.
So far this has been a great little camera and monitor. I have a 30 ft. class A motorhome and I wired the camera into a running light in the back so I did not have to drill any holes to get 12 volt DC. In the front of the coach I tied into a 12 volt line under the dash and mounted the monitor with a couple of screws on the dog house below the dash. When I turn on the running lights the camera will stay on and record as I drive. I do not get any static and it has a clear screen. In my case it does not matter what position the antenna's are in it just gives a clear static free picture. I installed the system myself and it took about an hour and a half. I gotta tell you it is working better than I expected.

Connection comes in and out every two seconds.
I bought this product for a 42 foot fifth wheel. I wired it into the running lights on the trailer so all I need to do to turn it on it's turn on my running lights when in motion. The picture quality is great but one major downfall is it constantly loses connection. The picture comes on for two seconds and then off for two seconds, whether I'm driving or parked. I've only used it all in one trip so I will look into it a little further. So far I'm a little disappointed.

Quick easy setup!
Works great for a backup camera on 15 passenger conversions van. Install time was less than an hour.

but this is *miles* better than my crappy old B&W Sony camera - and ...
So far, SO impressed. I've installed it on my 40' Monaco RV, and the image is bright, clear, and sharp. Haven't had it out on the road/at speed yet, but this is *miles* better than my crappy old B&W Sony camera - and the wide angle give me rear-view functionality instead of just the "hitch watcher" that the (non-adjustable, narrow angle) Sony was. I do wish that the volume control was more easily adjustable - I don't want to have to dig through menus to use it! - because I want it LOUD when I'm backing up with assistance but SILENT the rest of the time, but that's a minor quibble. For other Monaco, and probably Holiday Rambler and similar, owners: take my advice and drop the rear camera power lead in through the same hole the original camera wire went through, not the wide-open slot that *seems* to go down the inside back wall. The latter *does not connect* to the engine compartment, and you'll curse up a storm trying to fish it out (DON'T ask me how I know this.) Once fished, lead it into the rear passenger-side electric box, and hook it to the ground bar and the key-on switch - that's the top terminal on the rearward-most vertical distribution bar. Easiest wiring job ever, if it wasn't for pulling the wire in the first place.

Intermittent monitor/picture signal and poor camera antenna design restricts angle view
I was excited to buy this product because I saw a fellow utuber's Haloview sponsored video online who had a similar truck and trailer as mine. I installed it as per instructions and I get no picture or no signal 30 to 40 percent of the time so it is really not reliable or safe to rely on this product to inform me of what's behind my trailer. Also, they should redesign the camera antenna or it's bracket so that one can increase the angle of the camera to enable me to see more behind my vehicle. I contacted support and after like a week, they told be to buy the external antenna. Installed that and the reception did not improve. I am stuck with this camera since I passed the return period and I have to find something else wireless that will give me a picture on the screen at least a lot more often than this. Installed a dedicated 12 volt insulated wire to isolate interference to the camera and troubleshoot this problem for two months and 2000 miles of travel during the summer but nothing improved with the picture reception.

HIGHLY IMPRESSED! Using in my F150 and Cargo Trailer
UPDATE: After about 6 months of use, the antennas connection no longer works. I ended using some other wire, rammed into the antenna holes as a temp fix, but ultimately I will have to take the screen apart and install new antenna connectors. Fortunately I'm skilled at soldering. But after spending about $400 on this system with 3 added cameras, I'm really unhappy at this weak point of the product. I would 100% find a different solution if I could go back. This system really is higher quality than what I expected. If Haloview is trying to become a leader in vehicle DVR and camera products, they are well on their way!!! I was looking for a system that had: - Wireless setup - Single and multiple display screen - Built in DVR - DC power (since it's variable voltage, you could easily take spare AC adapters and convert one of the cameras for garage use to see where you are from above or behind or who is outside or inside of your garage at night) - Quality multi-adjust mounting brackets - Versatile mounting options. Once installed I'll include some photos!

I just finally installed the system on my 34 ft fifth wheel trailer and I'm using a cigarette lighter adapter for the monitor and I must say that it works flawless without interference or interruptions, I have tried 3 different wireless systems in the past and all of them worked intermittently and were useless, big waste of money but this one is solid, nice and bright picture and negligible latency, almost not noticeable, important when driving on the highway with your RV and have to change lanes, also great quality hardware, camera and monitor. I had some questions about the system and their customer support people are fast and accurate with their answers specially Bella that she dealt with my emails with expediency, great Co. to deal with. Final note is that if you need a good back monitoring camera for you RV don't waste your money with cheaper systems that are design for cars and don't have the range, I learned this the hard way, stick to this one.

Hi. So far this camera and display have performed well. The resolution and picture are very good and it does stand up well even when the truck is travelling pretty fast. For sure the wireless signal is affected by speed but is a bit better than I expected. I wish it could act as a rearview camera and not just a back up one but two things though make this too annoying, and not really possible. 1) You can't turn off the sound which makes it too noisy to use at any speed, so you have to turn it off. 2) The field of vision is just not wide enough. Although, the camera is doing what I wanted it to do, I probably would not recommend it or buy it again.

I waited until we had used it to add a review. I wired the camera into a tail light as we run with running lights all the time anyway. I will have to change that as each time I put the brakes on, power is cut to the camera. Turn off the lights and back on again to get it back. Easily fixed, minor detail. Installed on a 30 foot fifth wheel trailer. I installed it on the inside looking through the rear window. I wired the monitor into a cigarette lighter plug which we plug in when using. Using it on a 2106 F150 extended cab. The unit has lots of power and there are 4 bars of signal strength all the time. We set it on the trailer bumper to try it initially and still had 4 bars. The picture is very good in my opinion. When travelling at 60 MPH or so trees on the side of the road can be a little blurred if it is a 2 lane highway but the view behind is great and stable. Not sure what the FPS of the camera is but it is very adequate for the purpose used. I thought that the monitor was a little large but it is just right, good clear view of the traffic behind. We were hesitant to buy this because at the time there were very few reviews but we are 100% satisfied at this point. So far we would highly recommend this unit.

Easy to install, the only issue was the cigarette lighter adapter didn't work, but i had a spare adapter I wired up. The seller did offer a replacement, but the coupon code didn't work. No big deal.

PRO'S Alright let's start off with the good, came in as described and its some decent hardware, pretty weather proof stuff and the housing is very durable. CONS Original Haloview MC701 came in as a non working product, thankfully it was tested prior to install but I spent $70 at an electric automotive shop to have them test it out after I couldn't get it on a proper 12v connection, Was determined the LCD did not work however the camera's did, not so bad a malfunctioned product I guess, returned and replaced was easy, got a new one in, that one worked fine! Just wait, there's more... So the new MC701 worked and the first camera paired, I then tried to install the other camera's and so forth, from then on it was pure frustration, the box came with minimal instructions, not even correct, they talk about a yellow wire when the harness has a different scheme for triggers (not like I even needed it but a company should probably have proper instructions) the camera refused to pair, I figured it was another dud, I then take out the original camera and test the second camera and poof it works! So I go to pair the original as per instructions and nope, try something else, nope, tried different harness's etc, both cameras worked, but only one would display, even with trying to set it up on the other channel's. ( I definitely know what I'm doing ) So I emailed tech support and got nothing but sub par customer service referring me to the manuals they had online or the PDF they sent me which is the actual manual... Even then nothing worked. SO! I returned all the camera's and use it as a single back up camera on the plow truck as I already mounted the screen and one camera works so now i'm stuck with it because I'd rather it sit in there than go undo the four hours of wiring I already did to make this a clean set up. Don't go with a wireless setup... If you're going to buy a cheap setup at least do the wired setup and TEST IT FIRST BEFORE YOU INSTALL. I'll give the working product a rating of 5/10 but the rest of it is a nightmare. You win some, you lose some.
