Bone conducting headphones with bass?! Hell yea!
These headphones are the real deal. They are comfortable, easy to use, and the sound quality is amazing. I usually only use over ear headphones because I need to feel the bass to really enjoy my music. I decided to try these so I could still hear my surroundings at work, and I am honestly pleasantly surprised. The sound quality is far better than I expected. I used the app to switch to bass boost, but there are several EQ options depending on what sound you prefer, which is awesome. I have tried bone conduction headphones before and while the concept was cool, I could never get past the poor sound quality. These completely changed that for me. I have taken a few calls using these and from what I can tell, people hear me crystal clear. I also have no trouble hearing them on my end, even in a work setting. I got the mini version and it fits perfectly around my head with no extra space. They are comfortable enough to wear all day without any issues. The only downside is that they are not comfortable to lay down with. The pressure pushes the headset and makes it uncomfortable around the ears, which is a bit of a shame. Battery life seems pretty solid. I turn the music on and off throughout the day, so it is not playing constantly, but by the end of my shift the battery usually sits around medium, which looked to be about 70 percent when I checked. As far as value for money goes, I cannot say whether they are worth full price for everyone. What I can say is that these are top quality, so you can decide what that is worth to you. I picked these up on sale for about 115 dollars and for me, that was absolutely worth it. Overall, I am very happy with these and it is awesome that I can finally enjoy this style of headphones without sacrificing sound quality.

Excellent headphones--great for use when exercising
Purchased these after being frustrated with over-the-ear and in-ear headphones that constantly come loose or fall out when I'm wearing them at the gym to listen to music or podcasts. The instructions were clear (though amazingly no instruction on where the charging port is located!). The sound quality is excellent, very comfortable, have easy to use buttons (without crazy sequences to memorize like the above), and most importantly, they stay on snugly during exercise. I like that I can still hear ambient sound while wearing them. Easy to turn on and off, which you need to do to get the phone to connect to them. The battery life is OK--I thought it would last longer, but enough for a few hours of use and it has an audible 'battery low' indicator. Definitely a great value (I got them on sale).

I can’t believe I haven’t already left a review! Love them!
You alone will know why an open ear headset might be something you’d want. So let me just focus on the function of these. Battery life is epic. I mean all day. I use them all day a lot of the time. Comfort is excellent. As I said, sometimes I wear them all day. I barely know they are there. In fact, sometimes I forget they are there. sizing is something we need to talk about. I am 6 feet tall and have a normal sized head I suppose and the mini ones fit me perfectly. I also have short hair so keep that in mind. The reason this is important is because the standard ones might give me a little more freedom without getting tight. I really don’t care about that because the minis allow me to sit in a chair without being uncomfortable when I put my head against the pillow. They can also be used in bed. In fact, sometimes I sleep all night long with these on, and they are still there when I wake up. If you can wear the mini and have a little bit of distance between your neck and head and you don’t have to look up a lot, get the mini! Otherwise get the standard ones and be aware that you probably won’t be able to put the back of your head against anything without removing them. Yes, you can pull them down and put them around your neck and they will stay there until you are ready to put them back over your ears. The sound is excellent. Especially once you download the app and boost the base a little. That is the essential feature of these with the extra speakers. However, they work just fine without the extra speakers as long as you were fine with a little treble. Since I normally listen. to podcasts, it doesn’t matter to me. I am just listening to some person‘s voice most of the time. However, if you use them in the classic mode, which means you are just getting the bone conduction, be aware that when you turn it up to a higher volume, you may feel some buzzing on your temples. I suppose I could look up the IP rating for these. I don’t know what it is. But I’ve worn them in the rain and not had any difficulties. USB-C charging is clutch! And I saved the best for last. The microphone call quality and noise, cancellation or voice isolation is really top notch. I mean, handset quality. I really prefer using these for telephone calls over AirPod earphones. These things blocked out a crowing rooster! I mean, wow! i’ve been using them for a few months and they seem to be pretty durable. No problems. The case that they come in is very nice and they charge quickly. I really don’t have a downside for these except maybe it would be nice to have the microphone extension Like the other model. But then again, the voice quality on these is so good. I don’t think I need it and that would just be something else in the way. I got these on sale. I don’t know what they cost right now. But if it is within your budget and you are considering them, just hit the buy button because they were great.

Fourth Pair and Still Hooked
If you have ever wanted to secretly listen to your own playlist while still pretending to care about traffic, coworkers, or the barista asking if you want oat milk, these Shokz are the ticket. They are ridiculously comfortable. After a few minutes you forget they are even there, and they do not move whether you are jogging, nodding your head, or just slouching at your desk. Glasses wearers can relax because they play nice with frames. No pinching, no soreness, just a moment of oh right I am wearing headphones two hours later. Setup is easy. Pairing takes no effort. Controls are simple enough that you will not rage punch the side of your head trying to pause Spotify. Charging is a little awkward with USB C, but at least it is quick. Battery life holds up strong with ten to twelve hours of playtime. Sound quality is decent but nothing to brag about for music. I would call it a five out of ten. Podcasts, audiobooks, and phone calls though are smooth and clear, more like an eight out of ten. Bass is barely there even with the boost on. That is the trade off for being able to hear cars honking while you zone out to your stuff. Durability checks out. Sweat, rain, and daily use have been no problem. They feel sturdy and premium. Easy to toss in a bag or wear around your neck without looking like you are about to join a space program. Verdict: These are absolutely worth it. This is my fourth pair. They nail convenience, comfort, and safety awareness like nothing else. You do sacrifice some bass, but in return you get to live in your own soundtrack while still dodging bicycles.

Great general purpose headset - good for comfort, audio and battery life
This is the one to get, for general purpose Bluetooth headsets. The combination of bone conduction and speakers in front of your ears, not pointed into them, works great. My previous one was a single ear, in-ear type, which became annoying and uncomfortable. This one is comfortable and doesn't get in the way of environmental sound to my ear. The voice on the phone just appears in my head. It's great being able to work with my hands while I talk on the phone or listen to music, podcasts, etc. Music - I'm a sound engineer, and this is fine for casual music listening. You're not going to get deep bass or audiophile detail in music, and it's no substitute for good closed-back headphones, but it's mostly balanced and good enough. I use the Standard setting in the app. The Volume Boost setting doesn't seem to do much at all. The Classic setting, which is bone-conduction only and takes more battery power, doesn't sound as good. I tried other EQ settings, including the 5 band custom one, and I usually stay with Standard. If you need to use the bass or treble boost settings, there's probably something wrong with the source audio. Volume - music volume maxes out just a little before I wish it did. It's not super loud, but it's plenty in a quiet environment. Using it on a bicycle or with significant wind, you'd probably want to put a headband over it, and even then, it may not be loud enough. For podcasts or phone calls, volume is better; no issues with it not being loud enough yet. Phone - Clarity is good, on both ends. The tone is a little low-mid-rangey, as if there's a 400 Hz EQ bump, but voices are generally accurate and clear. Listeners on the other end may hear voices on a TV in the background, but not much of environmental noise like running water or wind. I can talk on the phone and wash dishes in the sink, and it's not a problem. I still need to test if someone on the phone can hear it when I pee. Practical stuff - Battery life is good, say two days with moderate use. I use magnetic USB-C cords where the tip stays in the device, it works for easy charging. It comes with a pretty good case, about the size of two beer cans side by side. Not something you can put in your pocket, and you probably wouldn't want to carry it without the case. But it's comfy enough to just wear it around. Overall, thumbs up from me, especially on sale.

Good headphones
Very good to have when you are at home or in the office. Good for running or bicycling. It allows you to be aware of your surroundings. Not the best headphones to have while in the gym. You hear everyone's grunts and weird sounds they make while they are working out. They maintain a pretty good charge, and the recharge is pretty fast as well. Sound quality is very good and clear. Not the loudest, but that is to be expected with open ear headphones. They are worth the purchase if you are looking for something that does not go in your ear or crushes your skull!

10/10 SOUND QUALITY!!!
SOUND QUALITY!! WOW. I've worn bone conduction headphones M-F 8 hours a day for probably five or six years. Figured they were all pretty much the same. Finally gave in and bought the Open Run Pro 2. #1 thing is sound quality. It's no joke. Whatever new technology they are using in these WORKS. 10/10 for sound quality. It's like wearing good ear buds but still being able to hear everything around you. Sound is crystal clear at all volume levels. Solid and rich sounds No buzzing or tickling on the face. I listened to music and took a bunch of phone calls on these for 8 hours straight. Ended the work day with 40% battery left. Completely comfortable. No issues. I actually like the app. Selected the Volume Boost. Works great for me. I only have one complaint. It's the beeping noise that happens whenever you push any of the buttons. Push a button, get a small beep noise in the speakers. Unnecessary and a bit annoying. That's the only complaint.

Fantastic product
These have gone a long way in helping me stay connected. They are light enough to wear all day and forget that their on, and carry a charge all day. I no longer miss messages and the sound quality while on phone calls is very good. There are three buttons, one to answer calls, pause music, or skip songs, and two for volume control / power. You can pair this to multiple devices, but only 2 can be active at once. You can have several inactive ones that you can turn on or off via the app. The app also lets you chose which mode you want, changing how they sound, or set a custom mode. They are a bit on the expensive side, but should last a long time. Definitely would recommend.
