Yummy
Very nice and refreshing whisky. Great value. Great quality. Perfect for sipping, warmth, 40% alcohol. If you like corn whiskey you will be surprised how good it is ,it's distilled and bottled in South Africa, sweet and similar to American bourbon whiskey or even better. It is a simple everyday whisky at the good price. I have subscribed for the regular monthly delivery and saved on price even more.

Worth a try
Very pleasant, much like a Canadian rye or a Speyside.

Lovely wee dram.
As good as any U.S. Straight Corn whiskey. Reminiscent of Heaven Hill distillery's Mellow Corn but not as viscous. Sweet floral notes of vanilla, oak and fruit. Aged 5 - 6 years in first fill Bourbon casks. Well balanced. Will definitely purchase again. At this price point you can't go wrong.

Very smooth with great after flavour
I love a single malt and decent blended but this is a stand for smoothness without the need to surround with ice. Only bad experience was the opening, the foil was thin and I had to peel it off in pieces but after that all good. For the price take a leap and be regarded by great smoothness and flavour that is price brackets above. Also not a bot or paid for this. One more thing that was a surprise was after the smooth flavour was the after flavour that cam through.

A great bourbon replacement for peace lovers
I have been trying a lot of whisky of late trying to find some replacements for my favourite bourbons.. this single grain is superb and cheap! Easy on the palette; perfect for non-alcoholics.. Reminds me of Woodford Reserve- no acrid after glow which I imagine is why it became so popular. Mind you, I like ‘some’ scotch; the expensive stuff but on a cold winters night one needs a bit of spice; the peat belongs on the fire in my opinion. This whisky and some nice Canadian stuff, means I can now comfortably say goodbye to the American stuff :)

Very nice easy drinking whisky
I have quite a varied taste, and enjoy heavily peated as much as lighter easy drinking whisky. This comes in a basic plastic screw top bottle but at an average £25, I prefer this over monkey shoulder for a well priced whisky. It’s got a sweeter taste can definitely taste a sweet butterscotch popcorn profile. Not harsh, nice sweeter aftertaste. Will appeal to those new to whisky but also if you like the occasional break from the more intense whisky available.

More bourbon than whisky
Bought this on the strength of reviews generally which were favourable. Very corn sweet forward and comparable with Bulleit bourbon in that sense which I'd purchased prior to this. From the first neck pour and a couple of drams in, I can say it's pleasant and easy drinking but lacks the body of a higher ABV spirit. If I knew that it was going to be so akin to a bourbon profile, I would have plumped for a Four Roses or Bulleit again. At least the latter is presented at 45% and has the more complexity due to the high rye content. Perhaps this is the pay off with a grain whisky as opposed to my usual single malts from a pot still. To sum up: pleasant and easy drinking but lacking depth and integrity strength.

Wonderfully simple whiskey
Lovely whiskey from a lesser known whiskey region. Easy sipping whiskey especially for the price.
