This is a great massager, I love that has heat and can massage both sides of your legs. It has multiple modes and can be used for a variety of muscle aches. I have frequent shoulder pain and this is the perfect size and intensity for it. I love that it comes with a remote to change the settings .

I really like this back massager—it makes my back feel noticeably better after using it. The remote feature is a nice bonus and makes it super convenient to adjust without having to get up or reach around. The massage nodes feel great, and I love that you can easily move it around to target different areas depending on where you need relief. Bob and Brad is a reliable company with good-quality products, and this one lives up to that reputation. I already own other massage products from them, and I’ve been happy with all of them.

The product is nice and helps alleviate my back pain… but I read the reviews and same stated that a velcro pad was included. I am missing the pad and I’m disappointed

This is the best massager I have owned, and I ended up using this one more than every other massager I have. The size and portability is the best part. I have been dealing with back pain for the last 4 years and wake up almost everyday with a sore back and neck. I keep this massager beside my bed now and have been using it just for 15 minutes after I wake up on my bed itself and it helps a lot. Pros: - I ended up getting the one with the remote, and that made it really convenient to change the mode and intensity without reaching behind and needing to change my position. They have one with the battery powered too but I wasn't sure if I would ever be using it anywhere where there is no power source so the one with the remote made more sense for me. - The size and ergonomics is perfect, I have the bigger whole-back massager, the one which covers the entire back and hips, but you can only use it on the chair and have to sit upright in a certain position. This once can be angled and moved to any position you like and that makes it really convenient and effective. - The mode and intensity is not a gimmick, I believe there are 3-4 different modes and intensity and they really make a lot of difference. I use one specific mode for my neck where it alternates the rotational direction and that helps a lot. - It mentions that it’s a back massager but I have used it for my calves and hamstring after workouts, and it works really well there too. Things to consider before buying: - The heat intensity is good enough for me, I wasn't looking for something that is a replacement for a heating pad. This massager gets comfortably warm but doesn't produce a strong heat if you are looking for that. - Make sure you are selecting the correct one as per your need, since there are multiple options, one with the remote and another one with the cordless option. - Never use any Shiatsu based Massager with a lot of pressure as it can make it worse for back pain (I have learnt it the hard way), you might get tempted to put more pressure because it feels better while using it, but everyone who complains about pain getting worse after using these products mainly faces that because of way they use it and the pressure with which they use. Bob and Brad service is amazing and I have been using their massager gun for 4 years now, and they even replaced it(without asking any questions ) when I was facing problems with it after more than a year of using it.

OK, so I purchased a massage gun from this brand for my dad a while back and it ended up shorting out and the customer service team was awesome and sent us a replacement. I ended up getting one for myself. I feel like for this brand pricing, this work perfectly fine for the price instead of spending so much more on something that does the same thing. I’ve had a little more pain as of recent, so I decided to get something that I don’t have to physically hold. And honestly, it’s very convenient and I like it. The massage aspect has some vibration to it which after a while my skin does get a little irritated, considering the massage gun doesn’t have that, but it’s very relaxing so I feel like I’ll get used to it. It’s not bad by any means. I like that you can strap it basically to anything to be able to hit your neck your lower back, even your calves. If you want a really deep massage, you just put your full body weight on it and it really hits those knots. We played games a lot at friends house and their chairs are so uncomfortable, so I’m definitely going to bring this to see if it helps me through our game nights. The heat aspect of this is really nice too. It’s definitely bulky, but it would fit in a normal bag if you wanted to bring it anywhere. Material wise, it feels pretty durable. I weigh like 200 pounds and putting my full weight on it, I do not feel like I’m going to break it in the slightest. I totally feel like I could definitely sit here for a long time and read a book in my chair lol. I also like the fact that even though the strap isn’t extremely long, it’s still tight and works on chairs that it might not stretch fully over.

Works really well, a little heat comes through not much and it runs in 15 min intervals. The pressure is ok but enough to give some relief.

Pros: * battery seems decent — daily usage for about 3 mos and run time still seems the same * feels nice — I don’t need to use it, but I do anyway * versatile — easy to position where you want Cons: - parts are already breaking - cannot be used while plugged in, and it takes 1-2 hours to charge - cover can’t be removed without cutting it open, so I’m guessing the batteries can’t be replaced, either I’m a small guy, but leaning my back on it while sitting caused one of the balls to audibly crack. I wasn’t even leaning that hard. Gradually, the motor gears on that side wore out, such that it can’t bear any resistance at all before the gears slip. I was hoping a name-brand product sold at a reasonable price would be better. Update: The battery version eventually wore out its gears such that the massage heads couldn’t turn, so its total lifespan was 4 mos. Fortunately, Bob & Brad customer support team saw my review and offered to replace the battery version with the corded one. I’ve been using the corded one for a week, and it seems markedly better than the battery version. The build quality seems more robust, and there’s no wait time for charging, or concern about batteries being replaceable. Also, it comes with a remote. Despite the cord, I find it just as convenient as the battery version. It was very kind of B&B to give me a free replacement despite being past Amazon’s return window, but since my purchase was for the battery version and nothing about it has changed, I’m leaving my rating at 3*.

I purchased the updated back massager from Bob and Brad and will try to give you a thorough review. Housekeeping: 1) Packaged very nicely. Massager doesn't have a chemically smell to it unless you really stick your nose into the machine and even then its very subtle. 2) The power cord is required to be plugged in, no battery, and its 6ft long. 3) Massager seems very well built. The foam is soft but supportive and the fabric seems very high quality with no frayed edges. 4) The massager beeps to let you know various things, like power on, changing of modes, etc. 5) Comes with a remote and battery for the remote. Pros: 1) The massager is very nice and relaxing to lay on. It can be maneuvered in many different configurations to target the area of the massage. 2) The rotating arms doing the massage, one arm is a little higher than the other so it feels nice going up and slightly down. 3) Remote is very intuitive, and comes with a sticker on the back to let you know what the images mean. 4) I personally like mode 2 the best, as it cycles from low, medium, high, medium, low and then changes direction and repeats. 5) Massager comes with an attached adjustable stretchable strap so you can attached it to a chair. 6) Massager does have a memory setting, so when you turn it on it will remember its previous mode and heat setting. This is convenient if you always use the same setting. Cons: 1) My only real con is about the heat setting. The heat setting is either on or off, no intensity settings. The other thing is the heat doesn't get what I think is hot enough to aid the relaxation during the massage. After laying on the massager for 10-12 minutes I took a temperature reading on it was registering between 91-92 degrees. To me its a very subtle heat, which means you won't have the possibility of getting burned (which is good) but its also not strong enough to help relax the area. I wish I could increase the heat setting. Overall: I think this massager is a fantastic product, really high quality, and highly recommend you buy one if you are needing a massager. Just know the heat might not be the strongest, but the massaging feels amazing.
