UPDATED REVIEW: I think I just got a one off unit that had a bad switch in it. That type of thing happens. I reached out to the seller and they made it right very quickly. This seller is great to work with, I would have no concerns that any issues you have will be resolved quickly. Buy with confidence. I did a lot of looking for a grinder and this is the one I settled on because of the removable cup. I used it a total of three times and it stopped working. As usual, it happened just after my return window. It sounds like the switch went bad inside because it doesn't "click" anymore when depressing the lid to start the grinder. I think I just got a bad unit and hope that Kaffe makes it right.

We finally upgraded to this fantastic coffee grinder that fit our needs. Our old cheap one could not grind well, wasting a lot of coffee. Loved the compact design, strong but quiet motor and ease of cleaning. With just a few seconds you get great results.

Good grinder

I got this coffee grinder to grind a tablespoon of flaxseeds every morning to add to my oatmeal. All the online information said that flaxseeds should be ground fresh. This grinder has features that make it perfect for this. It is fairly small, so it doesn't take up much counter space. The grinding chamber comes off so you can wash it in the sink. There is a plastic lid for the grinding chamber that prevents little pieces of ground flaxseed from getting into the motor area or out onto the counter. It is so easy to use: plug it in, and press down on the top. I grind my flaxseeds for 15 seconds. It's kind of loud, but not annoying, and it's only on for a short while. Highly recommend this coffee grinder. I'm assuming it's just as wonderful when grinding coffee beans.

This was my 2nd purchase of this particular grinder. The first one, bought in October, quickly broke - I far as I can figure, the motor burned out during a regular usage. Thinking it was my fault, I bought a 2nd one. This time, the tiny, tiny little plastic "bump" -- which is solely and completely responsible for making contact with the inner receptor that starts the motor -- just broke up. I had no idea that this tiny little fragile piece of thin plastic was even there, I wrongly assumed that what activates the motor, once the top lid was safely in place was built as and integral part of the lid, not a separate miniscule "bud". Poorly designed, for sure. I will not purchase from this company ever again, and urge anyone else to consider something better.
