Her 4-year old son had a really cool French Trader costume that included a fake-fur beaver cap ...
I was at my friend's house the week before Halloween. Her 4-year old son had a really cool French Trader costume that included a fake-fur beaver cap with a real coyote head pelt draped and pinned on top. My dog was wandering around their house when I realized he was suspiciously quiet. My husband went to check on him and to our horror, found that our dog had CHEWED HALF OF THE FACE OFF OF THE COYOTE PELT. I felt so terrible. When I got home, I immediately searched for a coyote face pelt on Amazon because you can find ANYTHING on Amazon, THANK GOD. And, the price was great, shipping price was ok and I got the coyote face the day before Halloween so my little buddy's French Trader costume was complete. Huzzah! The pelt was very nice, btw.

AMAZINGLY WELL DONE
I teach an out door wildlife class to kids and the one thing i was missing was a coyote pelt to go with the skull i have. Now my collection is complete! All my students loved it! Thanks!

Poor quality, lack of any attention to their own product
The fur color was nice, the size was okay, but the nose was literally ripped and dangling off the fur, about to fall off. How could you not notice this when packaging your own product? There is also a giant hole cut right through the top about 5 inches long so it will likely rip in half over time. It's clearly damaged and was still packaged. Won't be ordering from them again. Save your money, buy from a different company.

As stated and shown.
I purchased to add to a “rat look" bike project, namely as a part of a seat cover.(yes I know, if it is a "planned project, it is not really a Rat) The pelt I received looked very much like the one pictured, with one extra hole in the snout area. The bulk of the hide and fur was soft and pliable. The nose was inside out and the ears bent, and very stiff, all fixed using some “hide rehydration” techniques found online, and positioning them as I wished. Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase from “Tru Blue Supply” for less than $7 with free shipping that took about five days.

Good for a project
Bought this for an art project. It came flattened and the face was squished. Soaked it in water for 4 hours and was able to remold it into shape. The nose was missing some spots of fur and had a few little holes (nothing a little glue and fur can’t fix.) It was clean and didn’t smell which was good because I have a strong gag reflex with dead things. Worked perfect for an art project. Nice thick fur around the back of head and ears.

Great natural product!
The piece was as described and arrived quickly. I am a craft person and this was perfect for my project. This is a natural product and you should expect that it will have some characteristics that come from being a preserved piece of a formally living creature. That doesn't detract from it's beauty or usefulness. Using the pelt of an animal honors that animals life and ultimate sacrifice. That's how I see it. Buy with confidence.

Simply Great
I bought it a couple of days ago, I arrive soon ... I arrive as shown in the photo, of very good quality ... I mounted it on a toy that no longer worked and gave me good results, it makes it more voluminous and attractive for my puppy

Update: From 2 stars to 3 stars
UPDATE: From 2 stars to 3 stars8/4/2016I contacted the seller and TruBlu was very helpful. They shipped out another face and it is perfect! Again, the shipping was very fast, and it was packaged very well. It was a little squished and the leather wasn't broken (stretched out) very well. But other then that, I love it. It, again, appears to be from a lighter color coyote, maybe a red colored one. It has both ears, but no lower jaw, and the eyes are slightly enlarged. The fur is very nice, thick, fluffy, and very soft.Because of the squished face, I decided to dehydrate it and reshape it. While the face was soaking, I noticed that the water was turning yellow, meaning the the fur or leather or both was not cleaned very well, so I had to wash it. After the face was rehydrated, I began to reshape the ears first and one of the ears was FILLED with weird, nasty black clumps of who knows what, along with tiny pieces of yellow stuff. It was really nasty, I have never seen anything like that on a pelt before of any animal before. Once that was all washed out and the face was pinned to a form and set to dry, every so often I brushed out the fur so it wouldn't matte and I began to notice tiny chunks of that same black stuff that was in the ear throughout the fur and I basically had to rip them out because they were super stuck to the fur.Other then it being so dirty and the leather not being very well broken, it works for my needs. It rehydrated well, dried nicely, and seems to be holding the shape well. Although I no longer feel that it was a wast of money, I will only be purchasing furs from other fur dealers.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------7/20/16Shipping: Shipped extremely fast. Arrived before the expected delivery date. It was shipped in plastic packaging that was undamaged.Quality: The leather is good, and doesn't look old. Not the greatest tan ever, but most certainly not the worst. The fur is extremely soft (I used to have a full coyote pelt and this is even softer then that. The fur is very thick and fluffy. It has ears but no lower jaw. It is much larger then expected, in fact, it is so large that it could have been a mask. And it appears to come from a red coyote, a somewhat rarer fur coloration. Is it as expected?Absolutely not. I do love that the quality is great with a nice tan, soft, fluffy fur and, even from a red coyote, but the flaws make it useless to me. I got this face with the want to make a bag for renaissance fairs and what not. However, it is missing half of its muzzle, there are 3 big holes in it. A giant hole in front of both ears and a slightly smaller hole in the middle of the forehead. Both ears appear to be cut in half (lengthwise) and are barely attached by a thread. Is it worth it?NO. I will be returning the face in attempt to get my money back and I will be going to hideandfur.com or glacierwear.com to purchase another coyote face of higher quality and a guarantee that it will be exactly as I expected. This was a waste of money. I am glad for the customers who received a good face, but I am not satisfied. If it wasn't for the good quality, this would only have 1 star.
