Nice you can just swap the head to test if that’s enough before actually having to drain down the system to swap the valve.

Nothing wrong with these Honeywell valves, as a rule! However the unit supplied did have a problem inasmuch as the "powerhead" had a fault, which was quite obviously not uncovered until the intense replacement work was fully completed. Contacted this supplier and after many emails was informed that as I was unable to send the complete valve back, no refund could be considered, whereas the head is available as a Honeywell spare part separately. Obviously, to sent the entire unit back would have meant going through the entire works all over again, i.e. draining down the system etc. were as the "powerhead" could be replaced as a separate item? Gave up in disgust, and purchased a new spare "powerhead" from a first class outfit, BES on an overnight basis. Buyer be very ware of this firm.

Brilliant valve, quickly and easily converted my pumped heating, gravity water to a Sundial 'C-Plan' with this valve. and would highly recommend it. Good quality part, and let's face it....it's a honeywell valve - probably the best motorised valves in the world !
