These headphones are comfortable for my son to wear. He even fell asleep with them on. He's sensitive to loud sounds, certain pitches, thunder and these are a life saver for us for his comfort. They fold up so they can fit in my purse to always have for a "just in case" moment. They fit his smaller head and also will fit my (grown adult) head. They are good at blocking the noise/music (my older son playing electric guitar) while still allowing you (me, when I was testing them out) to hear someone talking next to you. The voice was a little muffled but I was still able to make out what was being said. For any unavoidable loud situations, these are our go-to!

I recently bought a riding mower, and it's fairly loud. I'm not sure it's loud enough to do any damage to my ears, buy why take a chance? I know too many people with hearing problems and I see how difficult it can make everyday life.These things drastically reduce the noise from my mower. In an already quiet environment like a library, you'd probably be in near total silence. They're not uncomfortable, but I've never had them on for longer than about 1 1/2 hours at a time, so I can't say how comfortable they'd be wearing them longer than that.If you need hearing protection from mowers and other such things, these are highly recommended.

Appearance: The color pink is accurate to the picture shown.Size: Fits my adult head well, has expanders to fit height to size. I don’t feel like my head is being crushed as others have said, though I don’t have a wide head. Appearance wise, they look bigger than the ear defenders I typically see people wearing but I don’t mind.Ease of Use: They are very easy to fit back into a ball to carry. It takes a bit of pulling to get them to fit on the head because you have to expand the metal out of the cuffs. I was a bit surprised by the force needed but once I did it a few times it became easier.Feel: I can have these on my head all day long. The cuffs fit completely over my ears so they are extremely comfortable in that way. It does put pressure inside my ears as if I was on an airplane. It’s not majorly bothersome but takes a bit of getting used to.Sound: When I first put these over my ears, I actually started tearing up because everything got so quiet. All of the background noise just completely stopped. I can still hear people talking. I can hear sirens. I can hear overhead announcements. But it blocks out a lot of the music sounds that hurt as well as the general small repetitive noises that would make me angry like chewing or walking or people tapping, etc.Durability: I cannot say anything on this quite yet as I’ve only had them a few days, but so far they have been durable. I have taken them on a trip and they held up well with me tossing them around and dropping them. The cushion on the part that sits on my head is still in tact. The metal feels sturdy. The cushions on the ear muffs do not have any imperfections. And the pink part is a very hard plastic.Sleep quality: I actually have fallen asleep with these on and I didn’t wake up in pain at all. I was very comfortable the whole time. They are a bit bulky to get used to and lay on but once you figure out a good position, it feels nice.Overall I would recommend. This is my first pair of ear defenders so I have nothing to compare it to, but I really like these.

This is my second pair. The device tames the racket of a riding mower or a diesel-powered compact tractor, using similar technology to an aviation headset but without the electronics. Like an aviation headset, the device pinches various parts of your ears and becomes sweaty in hot weather, but it's better than losing your hearing. Its weight isn't a problem.I needed to order a replacement because the adhesives used in these devices weren't up to the job. The rubber seals ("gel seals" in aviation-speak) and the sound absorbent pads inside the earpieces separated from the plastic framework. It's not clear to me whether this happened as a result of heat damage from sitting in my car between uses or because of vibration when I'm wearing the device while riding the mower or tractor.

I had used these when I went out shooting didn’t have problems with them falling off my head like I usually do with headphones size was good didn’t really hear much kept the sound of the bullets from making my ears ring

Not sure about the size complaint reviews, my head is probably average size noggin and it’s perfect snug fit. If it were loose fit then it wouldn’t cancel sound as well as it does.They work great, price is great.

There are supposed to be adult sized, but they do not fit my head. When fully extension, they just barely go over my ears, and they pull up on my hears and are really hard against the top of my head. Need about another half inch to be comfortable. The noise reduction seems really good, just can not wear then for more than a few minutes before it just hurts too much. Oh well.

I wasn't sure what to expect with these based on some mixed reviews. Some said they were small but I didn't have any trouble with the fit and I have a larger head lol They block sound very well. The price was very reasonable. I would buy them again.
