Fun yet challenging family game
My family is a big game family, and we are always looking for something different to add to our rotation of games. My kids thought this balance game looked fun, so we thought we would give it a try. It has been fun, but a bit more challenging than we thought it would be.The game is relatively easy to set up, and game play is straight forward. For younger players, or one's who frustrate easily, you can forgo the rules and just take turns placing pieces or even play solo an see how many pieces before it falls down.It contains a nice amount of pieces, and a plastic case to store all the pieces in. We did have a hard time fitting everything back in the case.Overall, this is a fun game that we have played several times.

If you want to play a DIFFICULT balancing game, this is the one for you.
You do get a lot of pieces with this game, and the setup is very very simple, but... The tolerances you need to meet to keep the board from becoming unbalanced make this EXTREMELY stressful as opposed to just some fun with friends or family.I can't knock it for the price though, it certainly functions as intended and you get a lot of stuff to deal with in order to make the game run, but it's just not my group's cup of tea. Mostly it just makes us feel bad that the tower keeps falling haha any time anyone touches it...

We really enjoyed playing this!
This balance tower was such a great find for our family game nights. The design is brilliantly simple but keeps everyone engaged, even my typically restless kids beg to play 'just one more round.' Each turn you draw a card that guides your piece selection based on either color or shape (or both!), then comes the fun part of finding that perfect spot on the wobbly board. The challenge builds with each piece, making those successful placements feel so satisfying. It's simple enough for kids to grasp but tricky enough to keep adults engaged too! It's solid construction and the clever wobble mechanism create the perfect challenge level for all ages. These aren't your typical flimsy plastic pieces. I would skip the punishment wheel depending on your kids and focus on the pure stacking fun which is more our style of play. We're pretty picky to begin with on games and it's rare to find a game that genuinely brings the us all together, but this one delivers!

Difficult game
This is a much more difficult game than it looks. I was intending it for teenagers so it wasn't that big a deal. I think if kids under the age of 8 or 9 tried to play this game, they would get frustrated very quickly. I tried to balance things by myself and it was quite difficult to get more than 7 or 8 pieces on, but it was still fun to try.The instructions for putting it together weren't very good, but it wasn't that hard to figure out. The instructions for the game were terrible. I'm still not exactly sure how to play, but we just kind of make it up as we go along. As another reviewer said, the white pieces were very dirty on the inside. Maybe they laid around in a dirty manufacturing plant or something. I've never received a brand new product that was dirty. Overall, it's a very challenging balancing game that I recommend for an older crowd. May be a fun quick game to play before playing a longer game.

New, sealed balancing toy is dirty!
The box was sealed with the plastic wrap. I opened it, looking forward to playing with it right away. Unfortunately, it was so dirty!!! See pictures. Yuck. I told my daughter she is not allowed to play with this new game .Why is a new toy so dirty? It is such a turn off. It's going to take us a good amount of time to clean all these pieces before we would consider letting young kids play with these. Moreover, as other reviewers stated, this is definitely not for young kids. It will get them frustrated fast and probably lead to tears. Maybe without the balancing pole, it may be doable (but that'll mean investing time to clean them well first).I suppose if/when we have more energy and time, the grown ups might try playing with it again (after we clean them thoroughly). You definitely need to start piling from the center out. This game will not work if you try to balance on the outer edges right away.Great idea, but not well executed. Just frustrating, super dirty, and disappointing.

Fun game for family
Our family is trying to eliminate TV on weeknights. The kids have been spending a ton of time outside, or at the neighbors house playing. But, with the cold rainy weather, I wanted some indoor activities as well.We played this game as a family last night and had a lot of fun. We didn't use the cards or the spinners, we just took turns stacking the blocks on the board game. The kids (5, 5, 3) enjoyed playing. It was more difficult for our youngest to stack the blocks, but with a little help even he was able to play. This game reminds me of a more difficult block stacking game. Its a fun alternative for a board game night. The game is easy to assemble and disassemble and has a great box for storage so pieces don't get lost. I am excited to add it to our family rotation.

Easy session - good party game
We have a similar game that just tips to the sides. This one is a bit more tricky. I think the cards cold be larger print, but overall it's a very simple game to learn and play. Older kids won't find much depth to it, but littles will enjoy.
