This HP 17.3" Laptop performs admirably well.I received it (Amazon mistakenly sent me two of them and charged me for "re-stocking" fee when it was their mistake)Nonetheless, the Laptop with 64 Gb Memory and a 1.8 Terabyte SSD hard drive with a backlit keyboard and a fingerprint sensor works so very well. I am so utterly impressed with it's speed and accuracy.. The soft touch keys makes typing a breeze. The back lit keys light up from dark to lighted immediately when once commences to type.I have experience with a variety of laptops to include HP, Asus, Acer and even a Korean brand. I return to HP because of it's quality construction, novel technological additions and advanced features. I learned to use a quality cooling pad (RGB Gaming Cooler) to avoid the risk of overheating. This RGB gaming cooler allows you to use up to 15 cooling fans which are installed. This is important with this i-7 intel Core.The Screen uses iRISx graphics. I think they need to work on better contrast control for the screen images. They are a little too light. The print is, in some instances, simply too light and the text needs to be definitely darker. That is a legitimate claim. Pictures are thus affected, as well. HP needs to work on the contrast.The touch screen is definitely a useful tool and functions quite well.All in all, I do recommend this laptop far above all other brands. I have tried so many different brands for prolonged periods and I always come back to HP but with the forewarning that these more powerful i-7 cores produce greater heat especially with prolonged laptop sessions. They do require the cooling pads, Find one that satisfies your needs.I think you will love the HP i-7 models. Jesse Jr

The laptop is good quality and is a lot faster than my old one. Shipping was fast. I like the lighted keypad. Great laptop.

I bought this laptop for black friday, me and my husband had separate hp computers before but his was older than mine, so i thought we could "share" this one- to be fair he LOVES it, even the rose gold and all the features if I am lucky have used it like 3 times but I can honestly say the software made it possible to backup both of our computers and add antivirus to both-this was probably one of the best buys, ever

Worst laptop I've ever had. The screen is low quality with a VERY narrow viewing range and poor contrast. Maximum resolution is only 1600x900 over 15 years after I first had higher resolution displays on laptops.The Bluetooth antenna is very weak. Using the same wireless earbuds I used on my old computer, this laptop's bluetooth antenna has less than half the range, and even when sitting right in front of the laptop the earbuds pop in and out of mono and stereo. It regularly takes 3-5 minutes to get the bluetooth working when I want to listen to something; it just finds and loses connection to the earbuds over and over.Sitting this new laptop next to my old one and clicking the same youtube video on both, this laptop sits and buffers for 10+ seconds at the start of every video, while my old laptop just starts playing. I suspect this laptop has a very cheap low quality wifi antenna the same as its bluetooth antenna.It's a big disappointment, but the return policies charge you hundreds of dollars if you regret getting tricked into buying this machine full of poor quality components.

I had a 15" i3 laptop with 16 mg ram, and It couldn't handle all the charts and such I opened up for stock trading, Had to keep closing down the browser.The i7 with 64 MB ram has NO PROBLEM handling the workload! Very Happy with it! And the price was good.And the 17.3" size is much better, Nice dedicated buttons for backlit keys, and adjustable screen brightness.
