Works Great
Great addition to my church sound system. Now guest singers can plug their phones in and play their music if they don't have a musician with them. Also just used it myself at at another church event

Did not work at all
Amazon says this is not returnable. It did not work at all. Used as directed, ie: connected a smartphone to an XLR input on a Mackie mixer. The type C end of the cable got very warm (for unknown reason) and no signal whatsoever was detectable on the input channel of the mixer. I really wanted this to work. Huge disappointment. And perfect that it's not returnable. Having read reviews positive and negative, I suspect typical lack of Chinese product quality control issues. Should I try ordering another one....? Who knows.

Works well
This worked perfectly for church. We were able to make it work so that the singer was able to control the music from their phone. The sound quality was good, no distortion.

Lots of interference and popping
Works good but makes a lot of noise if the audio is loud. I don’t mean too loud I just mean loud enough to sound good.

It would have been nice to have a 4ft cable instead of a 6ft cable !! This cable was used to connect my ipad to my 16 channel mixing board.

High quality construction and no noise emitting.

This cable causes major distortion of audio that runs through it. I've tried this on a file that plays flawlessly when played to a PA system using a standard stereo cable and when played through this cable, the tracks sound badly distorted. Unfortunately, this is not a usable piece of equipment for any use-case. Will be returning. Looking for positives about this cable? Well, it does look nice!
