OSRAM NIGHT BREAKER LASER H4, +150% more brightness, halogen headlight lamp, 64193NL-2HB, 12V, Hanging folding box (2 lamps), white

Have used these before on previous cars. Fitted to my 2015 VW Golf SV very easily. Was a 15 min job to complete both sides. The brightness is good. It's a slightly whiter light than the standard bulb but is not a very cool white. So if you are looking for that LED daylight whiteness then you will be disappointed. But works very well and is a significant improvement on the standard bulb. As in the past I only expect these bulbs to last 12-18 months but we will see.

I'd say these are easy to fit. They were, for me, as I have to remove the entire headlight unit to do it (Ford). This sounds like a faff but it does make it very easy to replace bulbs as I can then see what I'm doing rather than fumbling blind. Your experience here may vary but this is a reflection on car manufacturers, not the bulbs. They're very bright as you would expect, and a good bit whiter than regular cheap bulbs. The downside is the packaging, and this is where you must be super careful; often, bulbs come with a protective sheath over the glass. These do not (also bought Osram H7s and they didn't either). It's important that you do not touch the glass otherwise dirt and grease can cause excess heat spots and that will toast the bulb way before its lifespan. Be REALLY careful taking them out of the packaging because of this. They are pretty expensive for bulbs but for that you expect quality and a long life, obviously both of those will be proven (or not) over time. All in all, a good purchase. Could have been 5* with better packaging and perhaps a visual warning not to touch the bulb's glass.

Replacements for 20+ year-old, slightly smokey dipped-beam bulbs, so very much brighter. Original high beam bulbs clear and bight, probably little used. Not so bright that I've had protests from on-coming drivers.

Die Ausleuchtung ist gut und auch ziemlich weiß. Sie ist auch besser als mit der Standard-H7, aber gefühlt sind das vielleicht 25% und keine 150%. Insbesondere scheinen die Randbereiche und die Ferne besser ausgeleuchtet zu sein. Die Birne hat ein E-Zeichen und ist damit in jedem Auto verwendbar. Zur Lebensdauer, die mit 350h angegeben ist, kann ich noch nichts sagen. No-Name-Birnen sind mir fast jährlich durchgebrannt. Standard-H7 von Marken halten mehr als 2 Jahre. Da der Wechsel ziemlich einfach geht, wäre eine Lebensdauer von 1 Jahr okay - noch kürzer wäre bei dem Preis dann schon übel. Für die LED-Version haben meine Scheinwerfer leider die falsche Nummer, da bleibt also nur Halogen... Ergänzung: mein Auto hat Scheinwerfer mit H7 (Abblendlicht) / H1 (Fernlicht). In beiden habe ich jetzt die Hight Breaker Laser drin, die ergänzen sich gut. Das Licht ist angenehm, schon gleichmäßig ausgeleuchtet und die Lichtfarbe ist weißer. Die Beleuchtung ist insgesamt heller und reicht auch etwas weiter. gerade auf Landstraßen finde ich das sehr positiv. Würde ich weiterempfehlen.

I drive a 2013 RAV4 and definitely noticed a change in brightness compared to the OEM bulbs from the manufacturer. The road seems a little more bright, not by a lot, but still noticeable. I don’t expect it to be super bright knowing that these are still halogen bulbs and they have their limits. I’ve had them on for 2 months now and they’re still going strong, I would recommend.
