You can really tell the difference in the levels.
I am a complete noob when it comes to shrimp keeping. I have a tank with what's left of the purchase of a couple dozen red rilis and several cherry shrimp they sent me by accident. I also have a male betta who is the main occupant of the tank, and a male guppy that hitchhiked in with the last batch of shrimp as a tiny fry, and the betta decided to keep.My old test kit was not all that good at making the colors different enough so I could accurately tell what the levels were. I think most of my shrimp are gone because of that kit. It faded the colors VERY quickly after the strip was "ready to read", and they could sometimes be mottled. It also took longer than this one to get to where it was supposed to be ready. I had MAYBE 15 seconds to guess what color the pad was for each part of the old test. VERY frustrating. I had to take pictures with my phone and I was still guessing.THIS kit, however... where before I was groping hard to figure out the colors (almost like I was in the dark, trying to see in color)... NOW I'm in clear daylight with these strips and boy do those colors POP in comparison. I had guessed from the old strips that the GH and KH in my tap water was a bit high.. and I am now very sure of it thanks to these strips. The two pictured side-by-side are the test done from my current tank, and the one I am cycling up that's cut HEAVILY with RO water before I move everyone over.I am gradually adding RO water in the current tank as it evaporates out, and I'm going to make sure to cut the water changes with an increasing amount of RO water to bring down the amount of GH and KH the shrimp are in gradually until I can transfer them safely. These strips will let me safely and accurately tell what the levels are throughout and be able to keep from shocking them with too drastic of a change. There are 150 strips in the bottle, which is generous enough for the constant testing I am doing to work on balancing everything to bring the environment back to safer levels. The label is water-resistant, so you can lay the strip on it and compare the colors easily. The bottle seals well and keeps moisture out. It also included a desiccant package to make sure to absorb any moisture that does get in. Tip: DON'T TAKE THAT OUT!The strip is a 2-second dip and 15 seconds to the first set of readings. My favorite functionality with these: the colors DON'T CHANGE after that. 15 more seconds (total 30) and you have the top half of the readings ready.I will DEFINITELY be ordering these again when I need more. Good value for how many you get when compared to other offers, too.

Super easy and it works!
I used this with a liquid ammonia kit and I have to say it's pretty good. As I adjust parameters in my tank, this accurately shows that I did. Examples: I have soft water based on this test, I added shells to increase hardness, test read the change. Also my nitrates and nitrites are as expected based on the ammonia test.

Some what accurate
4/5 Stars because it does everything as intended. But it's really hard to get accurate numbers, would recommend and master kit if youre looking for precision.

No ammonia option
These are easy to read and use! Great for shrimp tanks. No ammonia test, which I totally missed when buying. Seem to work well!

Works but not completely accurate.
Not completely accurate but will give you some idea. I bought these to help do tests quickly and more often. I have a test kit I use every week or two. I shared my strips versus my kit to show the difference. My kit shows Nitrates at 5PPM the strip shows about 50PPM. These strips will get you 70% the way there, but I would double check before getting worried about a result .
