Barbecue Cleaning Pumice Set

Very impressed!! This worked exactly as described in the sales blurb. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them but I would advise getting at least a couple of packets because they rub down quite quickly. Mind you, the barbecue we used was massive! We had hired a fixed barbecue in the forest for my birthday. When I went to view it ahead of time, I was horrified by the gunge that had obviously built up over years of use. Advice from the web led me to this item. The parcel arrived very quickly and within the hour I had the barbecue grid sparkling almost like new.

The stone does a great job of removing residue from the grill. I usually follow with half and onion dipped in cooking oil rubbed across the grill to clean and season. After the first few uses of the handle, the stone started to fall out. I will probably end up using heat proof gloves to hold/scrub the stone against the grill but for now I'm getting by. To make the handle work faultlessly they would need more ingenious design with sprung teeth.

Très contente de mon achat. J'ai vu des documentaires sur la dangerosité du nettoyage des grilles barbecue avec une brosse métallique et je conseille à tous de plutôt utiliser cette brosse à pierre ponce qui est plus efficace et sans danger.

Bisher haben wir unseren Grillrost immer mit der Drahtbürste gereinigt oder beim Gasgrill mit dem Schwamm um die Oberfläche zu schonen, aber das war ne doofe Schrubberei. Letztens durch Zufall irgendwo im TV bei einem Bericht etwas von Bimsstein für die Grillreinigung gesehen und mal etwas gesucht und prompt dieses Set hier gefunden. Was soll ich sagen, die Reinigung hiermit geht spitze! Durch dieses Set hier mit dem passenden Griff dazu ist es auch noch bequemer als einfach nur mit dem Block zu schrubben. Durch das relativ weiche Material lassen sich die Oberflächen des Grillrostes astrein abschrubben, die Rillen und Riefen des Grillrostes "fressen" sich in den Reinigungsstein und man kann dann wie auf Schienen den ganzen Dreck runter waschen damit. Danach kurz mit klarem Wasser abspülen und fertig.

Hallo! Ich habe eine beschädigte Verpackung zugesendet bekommen! Einer dieser Bimssteine ist ebenfalls etwas beschädigt! Das darf nicht vorkommen!
