Can the cushion be washed

No but you can wipe the cushion part down with a damp cloth it is quite durable and I use soapy washing up liquid but my tray broke after a couple of months the wood sides came loose so was quite dissatisfied and they are lovely and not cheap

What is the stuffing made from?

We fill the lap trays with the right amount of Polyballs so the Tray moulds perfectly to one's lap.

would it be suitable for a 10 year old patient?

Our youngest daughter had a tray like this when she was 10 years old - it was a little large but perfectly usable, I would really recommend the product it is great

Great trays- beautifully made.

Great lap trays with a good amount of filling so they sit nicely. Very well made and love that the underside is patterned too. Perfect size.More expensive than other trays but worth every penny. We’ve had cheaper ones before but they never last long and there’s often not enough filling.

Good quality from an ethical company

I thought I'd splash out a bit on a tray as 2 previous cheaper ones have now both ended in landfill. Glad I did as the difference is immediately evident. The box arrived battered and damaged but the contents are intact and in perfect nick. The bean bag is not quite as thick as I was expecting but it is still thicker than average and the material is of much better quality. The tray border is proper wood rather than the chipboard stuff of cheaper models. I was already very happy with my purchase but the icing on the cake was a statement on the wrapper that said that tray is made in Britain and 40% of company wofkforce is either registered disabled or is a primary caregiver. Fantastic!

What more could you want!

I eat a meal off this tray so am sitting down and relaxed. It appears sturdy is light weight and obviously comfortable on my knees! It's lots of elephants, makes me think of Africa. What more could anyone want. And it arrived before Christmas!

Good quality, lovely design.

Great little table, just the right amount of padding to make it comfy but also allow you enough room to mould it to the perfect position.Good quality, doesn't feel cheap, definitely something that will last. Also a lovely design.

Perfect lap tray

Well made. Lots of padding so sits nicely on my knee. Light in weight too. I use it for meals and my laptop computer. Very happy with it and would recommend.

Just right

This is such a lovely tray well made and sturdy, and comfortable when using as well. As well as using mine for meals, it’s great for an iPad, writing letters or notes, jigsaws. The edges of the tray sit just high enough to stop anything from rolling off, the cushion part is very well filled. I highly recommend the seller and the tray - I love Elephants as well.
