It works just fine for me.
This review is based on what I'm using it for.I got this for cutting window screen into circles to use for preventing soil from escaping the bottom of the pot when watering. I'm using a thick metal stencil and all I need the cutter to do is, follow the stencil. It does that very well. I did add a tiny drop of some very expensive knife oil to help it move more freely. Like I said it works very well for what I needed it to do.Inserting the blade was very easy. They provided a little plastic wrench to help and it does help. I found the blades to be very sharp and durable. I only had to apply minimal pressure on the the blade to achieve my cut. I have cut roughly 30 circles with a silicone pad underneath the window screen to help prevent the blade from wearing out.It comes with five blades which is not mentioned in the description. I bought a replacement pack and the price is low and you get a lot more blades than any of the other brands that I bought to try.Overall I'm very satisfied with this product and based on my use of it.

Not swively
It doesn't swivel as well as I was hoping. I think a smaller blade will swivel more easily.

I never knew this existed! Can't believe how sharp ...
I never knew this existed! Can't believe how sharp my edges were before this. It glides so well when I make curves and although it took a minute to get use to it's not hard to adjust. The item came with extra blades and a case! Thabks for this and will buy more in th future.

Does not swivel and barely cuts
I needed a blade that would cut through velum and swivel around elliptical shapes and create a nice smooth edge. This device does none of this. While the instructions for assembling and using this blade are minimal and vague, I was able to assemble the cutter and try and use it. Fail. it did not swivel once. It didn't even feel like it could. So I had to use a combination of wrist and repositioning of the paper and then after struggling through that I found many of the areas that I went over did not cut all the way through. Trying to realign the blade to continue a smooth curve was impossible.Did I get a defective one? Did I get the "instructions" wrong? Lord only knows. But what I do know without any doubt...this is getting returned.

Nice product sits comfortably in the hand
Nice product sits comfortably in the hand. A little stiff, but it may just need to be broken in. time will tell. Also, I am a handicapped person, and it has given me another tool to help me be independent.

Nice cutter pen
This cutter pen is quite well made though I think I need more practice in using it. It's not as easy to use. I get stuck in certain areas when cutting with my coluzzle cutting system.

I found it very difficult to use.
I don't know why this is "Amazon's Choice". I've been trying various tools for cutting airbrush stencils. By far the best swivel cutter I've found so far is the Gyro Cut, but replacement blades are fairly expensive. I was hoping to find something with a cheaper replacement blade blade and the NT Cutter seemed like it might work. The reason the Gyro Cut is such a good tool is because they figured out that you need to have an offset between the handle and the blade, to improve tracking and visibility on the work surface. The NT cutter seemed to take a similar approach, but in use the swivel is way too stiff and the thing seems to have a mind of its own - always skittering off across the sheet. You can't even cut a straight line along a ruler easily without it taking off. I think if they had a super-smooth swivel it would work. You can't have a precision swivel knife that does not swivel easily.
