Great book

This edition benefits from the editor's extensive knowledge of the Shakespeare canon, especially in the 50 pages of the technical introduction, in the footnotes to the text, and in the appendices that deal with performance history. Highly recommended.

Great edition! Excellent explanations of meaning of words; good scene summaries; perfect for high school, college, or anyone who wants to get a deeper understanding of this play.

this is a great Shakespearean play but there are many far better versions. i suggest the pelican version, it gives little side notes for comprehension.

It WAS Shakespeare and I am not an English major, but I enjoyed reading it in this way. I was able to highlight certain passages and save them. Some words I could look up in the dictionary, but also not the more Shakespearean ones. I would recommend it this version.

I'm only giving this three stars because I am a twin. Also, there are a few good quotes about fat chicks.

I have read very little if any, of William Shakespeare since my school days which seems to long ago to mention. I thought I would like to try some comedy. Unfortunately this book was just to difficult to read and understand. I had to give up half way thru it.

I have always preferred the Arden series for teaching purposes as well as performance purposes. The text is clear and explanations of Shakespearean words explained. Great edition.

Lets face it, not everything the man wrote was brilliant.

We downloaded the script while we were watching it at the Globe! The script allowed us to pick up any words we missed hearing. That was great!!
