I really only use #1 for my own preference. I like to be able to see the nail polish color under the chrome. Easy to use and stays on well when a top coat is applied.

I loved these powders. You can use a little to add a bit of shine and sparkle, or a lot to achieve a chrome effect. They came with lots of applicator sponges and plenty of product for at-home applications. In the picture, I lightly used powder #4 (pink) over a chartreuse base. I'm excited to use the metal color (#8) over a black base. In my testing, it gave a true mirror effect.
