Montezuma's Absolute Black 100% Cocoa Bar 4 X 90 Grams

I love Montezuma’s Absolute black chocolate and was super pleased to find it on Amazon, (one of the best foods you can eat)with the 100% cocoa solids. Its strong dark taste is absolute chocolate, a delicacy which I look forward to starting my day with as I make breakfast. Or at any other time, as a health giving treat. Montezuma’s Chocolates are a British company in West Sussex who make a variety of delicious chocolate bars, milk and dark under their brand nameand have certainly one upped the European chocolatiers who only Lindt top out with at just 90% cocoa solids. Bravo! to the Pattinsons who founded Montezuma’s chocolates, Chocolate craftsmanship at its best. Try Salty Dog or any of the others including the Big Buttons. Absolute Black is the king of dark chocolate, too strong for some, I know.......so an acquired taste.

We LOVE the Montezuma Dark Chocolate Absolute Black! It is only pure chocolate we have found. No added sugar, no artificial sweetener, just luscious dark chocolate. Healthy, yummy and satisfying. Unlike sweetened chocolate, just a tiny piece is enough. Sweetness make me crave more I guess because the sweetness affects my brain. This is just naturally sweet enough. I highly recommend it.

I like very dark chocolate although I guess a lot of people would find it too bitter, it’s an acquired taste and I don’t have a sweet tooth. I like that it’s only cacao with no additives. Makes a good cake frosting if melted in coconut milk and a little maple syrup added if you want.

For a 100% bar this is very crisp with a good bite to it, and a very long aftertaste which brings out the little flavour it has - I can't detect any fruity flavour. Even so, this is pretty good for the price, and I'll probably buy it again as it has a clean taste which is ideal after a meal. No bitterness, and very palatable.

I wouldn't eat this as is, because without any sweetening at all, chocolate is really bitter. But as a diabetic, I can now make chocolate based treats sweetened safely that taste amazing, and that's a big deal to me.

I like dark chocolate but this was way too well I couldn't eat it. Had to give it all to a friend.

can only give 1 star in this instance and at £13 for 4 it is VERY expensive. Morrison's sell it for 2.50 a bar

Très bon chocolat, l'un des meilleurs 100% noir que j'ai pu gouter. Largement aussi bon que le Ducasse que j'aime beaucoup et moitié moins cher.
