Fantastic full scale anatomical skull for drawing, at a reasonable cost.

This skull is perfect for anatomy sketching and can live handsomely on a shelf for display when not in use.It has very good detail in the cast, decent individual tooth modeling (I’m not a dentist though lol), a nice clean white color that shows light and shadow well, a nearly invisible (at normal angles) spring in the mouth to attach the jaw and hidden magnets to keep the skull cap on.Seems solid...just a minor wish that the magnets were just a wee bit stronger in case someone picks it up not knowing the skull cap detaches...but I can’t ding the stars as stronger magnets might make removing the smooth cap tricky.I previously bought a skull model from another manufacturer and had to return it as it didn’t match the photo at all. The other one arrived with an ivory yellow color cast, had yucky old brass catches for the cap, ugly springs running from temples to outside the lower jaw and a cracked cap. Overall the other skull model looked ghastly and was of a lower quality.Additionally the shape of the other skull did not match the photos at all...so back it went.Very happy with this model though— especially after being let down by the other model; it even came with a short illustrated pamphlet naming the anatomical features.

I bought this to help me learn the bones and landmarks of the skull. It's a great deal for the price, the marking are easily defined, the jaw is movable and the top of the skull cones off to learn the interior portion. The only flaw I saw was that some of the foramen were not the correct size. It minor really because they were in the correct location. It was also easy to write on with color pencil and erase. Glad I bought it. I aced my bone practical!!

It is decent quality and pretty accurate other than the color being a little too white. And has a glossy finish because the type of pvc used. The size is just a tad bit too big on the cranium circumference. You can find better with other brands of this price. I recommend euuddo or mediarchitecht brand.

Nice & heavy. Life size. Good detail work. Some seems are a little messy but not bad enough to dock a star. I'm looking forward to painting it & having it sit on my desk. If i get enough compliments I'll definitely buy more to paint.

I named him Zeke. He keeps me company while I write. He's also magnificent for Halloween decorating, as an artist's model, or for anatomy study. This was probably modeled after an actual skull because the teeth are not perfectly symmetrical. The mandible is attached by springs, which increases its sturdiness.

I got this skull to study medical anatomy, and found it disappointing. It’s great for learning cranial bones and sutures, but it’s missing several important details. For example, there is no foramen rotundum. The carotid canals and superior orbital fissures are not drilled all the way through, so I couldn’t use pipe cleaners to understand where they opened. The mastoid foramina, stylomastoid foramina, condyloid foramina, foramina caeca, palatine foramina, olfactory foramina, internal auditory meatus, and external auditory meatus are all either closed or missing entirely. Overall, this skull is okay. Not the best, not the worst. I would recommend this model for general study, if you need to know only major cranial bones and sutures. However, I wouldn’t recommend it if you need to know cranial foramina.

Anatomically correct and great for study.However, not all foramens are visible.
