Great tones for those on a monetary (and time) budget
This is a great budget multi effects pedal in a flooded market. We have the Tone Master Pro, the Quad Cortex, and now the Helix Stadium has just been announced. These are extremely technical units meant for tweakers, and gear snobs who are so into a tone they want to adjust the amp model's voltage or bias and capture a tone from their 5k rig. Spend hours tweaking and turning knobs. This pedal doesn't do that. And this pedal isnt for those type of players. So who is for then?As an owner of tube amps that collect dust, obsolete Digitech multi effects pedals, single effect pedals and a Quad Cortex I just bought, it's hard for me to find time to sit down and spend time with these amps and modeling pedals like I used to, deal with their weight or speed time getting presets perfect with snapshots and scenes and all that nonsense. I just want to be inspired to sit down and play. And this unit does that.I can spend time just going through presets and jamming on the tones and maybe a slight tweak here and there but it is instantly gratifying. This is perfect because I can spend less tweaking and more time playing and writing. I stress this part because having a looper and drum machine built in is invaluable for writing and jamming. The fact that it is rechargeable is the cherry on top. I mainly bought this for camping trips with a rechargeable amp so playing outside anywhere with tons of tones is now possible. When I plugged in, I was very pleasantly surprised. There's some great sounds here, but it's no Quad Cortex or Helix, nor is it trying to be. The amp sims sound and play and feel like they should. The UI is easy and I figured it out in 5 minutes. There's no touch screen, no scribble strips, no advanced i/o, no signal chain rounting options, but at this price point, the features they did manage to pack in this thing is very impressive. IRs can even be loaded onto it. I find myself reaching for it more than my more expensive complicated gear due to convenience.I do have some concerns about build quality, particularly the expression pedal which is the very obvious weak point of the whole pedal, it's flimsy, thin, small, bouncy, which makes it hard to get volume to 100, as it rebounds to 90. They do let you calibrate it and program it to any of the amp or effect parameters so that's a plus. Also the LCD screen can be hard to see at times but that is what it is at this price. So to sum up, if you are looking for tons of tones in an easy to use package, a beginner guitarist looking to find their sound on a budget, or looking for portability for outside playing and travel, this pedal should be at the top of your list. It looks like they are adding amps and effects with each update. I bought it on a whim and was blown away.

2.0 firmware is fantastic, battery feature is super convenient.
This unit is really incredible bang for the buck. Even inexpensive modelers these days can sound good, and with the 1.5 and 2.0 software updates, this thing sounds fantastic.I updated to the 2.0 firmware and loaded a few of my own IRs, assuming I'd need them, but the stock cabs on the amps that I've messed with have not needed it. Nice stereo reverb and delay effects, great touch responsiveness under the fingers. I use a PAF style humbucker and P90s and play the unit in stereo through the aux input of a Yamaha THR, essentially a small battery powered FRFR. GREAT portable rig.Among its limitations are the lack of an effects loop, inability to re-order effects or use multiple of the same effect type, no parallel effects chain (can't do dual amp/cabs), and I miss the GE200's lighted buttons that go straight to a particular block in the signal chain. On the GE150 and GE150Pro, you have to spin the knob and scroll to the block you're looking for. All of these are normal limitations for multi effects pedals in this price class. The update process on macOS has Chinese language dialog boxes, but just clicking the button moves forward through the process like it should. The macOS computer software shows Chinese language as it starts up but snaps into English when it finishes starting and works very well to quickly edit patches, load IRs and MNRS amp captures. I haven't tried MNRS captures on firmware 2.0, but they sounded fantastic on firmware 1.5.Overall, great value. You just need a way to hear it, like good headphones or an Alto TS408 or similar powered PA speaker.

Great first or replacement multi effects processor
This is a fun pedal to play with, with so many options. For the price, what you get is un matched in my book. The rechargeable battery is amazing, I jammed with my buddy for 3-4 hours and barely used 50% of battery life. The option to update and load your own IRs is solid and previously only available on the higher end units. The amp Sims are solid. Just play with settings until you find the sweet spot and it will never fail you. The delay types work as they should and sound great. The distortions/overdrives included are so close to their big brand counter parts, having the metal zone back in my grasp is awesome. The choices of tubes as well as mic placement is also a great addition usually reserved for higher end units. There are a good amount of reverb and chorus options that sound clean, and the noise gates work effortlessly.Honestly I bought this because my Line 6 Floor Pod Plus died on me, and I am not mad at all. This is a great, affordable replacement. I will say I'm still figuring out the expression and wah choices. I feel like so far, i am not finding the sweet spot for the Wah/expression options. But it is probably just user error, as there really arent too many videos on the use of that function. But all in all this is an amazing work horse and can get you to the sounds you want and strive for, with ease.

Good sound for the e price you pay
The product is what’s promised. Preloaded presets are not great, but if you tune it yourself you get a good sound. For the price you pay, it’s great.

MOORE FOR YOUR MONEY!
This is an exceptional product for the money. Download and read the instruction manual. It really helps. Use the PC software to modify the preset chains and store your changes easily. If you’re playing through a combo Amp, especially a tube amp, try disabling the Amp in the presets to get the most out of your own rig.
