Love the Zafro 35.5lb/24hr Nugget (grey) ice machine!!! No complaints in regards to this counter top ice machine!! Was purchased in February, and it's been running 24hrs a day since it's arrival. Yes, it does have a buzzing/noise sound...but you get used to it. Sounds like a fan. It does shut off once there is maximum ice. As the ice melts, it will make more ice. It does make a re-booting buzz sound when this happens. **I DO NOT USE TAP WATER. I read up, that the best water for ice machines, is distilled water. So Distilled water it is. The ice tastes clean, and crisp!! Also purchased Descaling tablets for inner machine cleaning, for once a month cleaning. Great purchase/happy customer!!

I have been very pleased with the Euhomy ice maker that we use here at home. That’s why Iwhen I looked for one for our new travel trailer I checked this brand first. I couldn’t believe how much the prices went up on the Euhomy brand, so I looked through other nugget ice makers and found this one and it looked exactly like my Euhomy. So from the photos I purchased this one. It is in fact EXACTLY like the Euhomy . These are excellent little ice makers if used properly. After a year I have learned how to keep them functioning properly 1) Only use bottled water to avoid calcium buildup. 2) Clean it out weekly!!! I have experienced a type of algae growth that occurs (even with bottled water) that made the machine appear to have completely died. This happened when I got lazy and didn’t clean it for three weeks. I had to use a mixture of water and bleach with the self cleaning function to get it cleaned out. (That was some gross looking stuff coming out). Flushed it very well with water and it began working like new. So KEEP IT CLEAN and no problems. We’ve been running ours 18 hours per day every day for over a year now and it’s still going strong. Attached is a photo of a brush that is pretty much necessary to keep the machine clean.

There is nothing better in summertime than QuikTrips chewy cubes of ice, but this ice is a close second You dump two 16oz water bottles (or tap if you are into that) into the reservoir hit the button & voila in 1 hr u will have one cup of perfectly soft, chewy (not hard crunchy) ice Its delicious & refreshing anytime, but also helpful if someone has been sick to their stomach & is slowly working their way back to eating & drinking If you leave the machine on after the cycle finishes & enough of the ice melts down from the basket, the weight in the reservoir will trigger the machine to make ice again which is nice I was not ready to commit to a 300+$ machine especially with horror stories about how loud those can be & the counterspace they take up, so, happily, i can say the size & output of this machine has worked well for 2 people & the sound is easily drowned out when you are watching tv 4 stars because: 1. when the cycle finishes there is still about 1/3" of water in the reservoir you need to clean out with a papertowel 2. There should be a holster for the scoop

The ice machine worked great from day one, until recently it started making random loud noises and at other times, clicking noises but no ice. I let the machine run from early morning until around 8pm, every day. I purchased this machine in May and it stopped working towards the end of August. Can’t seem to find help online for troubleshooting “makes clicking sound but is no longer producing ice.” I paid too much money to have it malfunction already. 😭

I have had this now for over 7 months and it’s still going strong and husband loves it , easy enough even he can do it ( and keep it clean)

Our best purchase of the year 2025!! Makes ice quick and keeps it nice and cold all day and night! Fits in tight apartments and easy to clean. Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys nugget ice in their drinks!

Love this ice machine. I’ve had many but none where the self cleaning feature actually works. I wish the nuggets were a little bigger but still love it. It’s a little loud but my ice machine in my fridge is a lot louder.
