Whilst the hardware in itself is fine there are no instructions or download links to enable a micro sd card to be configured for use. Fortunately this was a present for my grandson and I already had a micro sd card of my own that I could clone. Once set up it works well, one thing to note is that they only work for 5 years from the date of the first use of a micro sd card. Obviously you can just rest the date but it is something to be aware of.

Works fine on my 3ds console. Does not work with 3ds roms though, works fine with ds Roms. I am using this with a 128gb micro sd card formatted with fat32. This devices do come with a 5 year time bomb, after 5 years they stop working. There are work around for this, so you might have to do a bit of googling. Otherwise good value for money, doesn't cost much, so a thumbs up from me.
