Feels high quality, solid construction & materials feel weighty - not cheap. I did not use it, though blade is sharp & has some serration on the edges for traction. I'm planning to return because it does not fit well in my hand - it is too large. I'm a woman with average ish sized hands, maybe on the smaller side. I think this would be perfect for someone with larger hands - the lower handle being an enclosed loop would help prevent slipping, but compared to other similar products this one is just slightly outside what feels comfortable for me to hold & use with one hand confidently. Seems like a good value, comes with a couple of extra springs which is great. You can take it apart to replace the spring, but it's not the easy open kind that makes cleaning super fast, this one you have to remove a screw to separate the blades.

Excellent shears, especially for spatchcocking chicken or turkey. They cut through the rib bones with ease. They are also great for cutting off stems on bouquets. They feel solid in your hand and are dishwasher safe.

I purchased these shears to replace a pair of plastic-handled ones that finally gave out. These scissors are beasts on chicken, They are large and heavy and heavy duty for a job that requires it. They are a bit hard to clean in part because I am scared of them as they are so heavy duty. Great quality for the money and designed well with excellent grip handles. Would buy again.

These shears are very well made. They cut through skin and bone pretty easy. The only problem is you have to have a lot of hand strength to get them to cut. They are very heavy and my hands just aren’t strong enough. I just use them against the counter or sink for leverage.

Such a powerful pair of kitchen shears! This are well made and sturdy and seem to cut through anything. Someone with smaller hands may have trouble closing these shears, but more me they are comfortable to use. The shears have a locking mechanism and they are easy to clean. I use them to trim fat off meats, but though small bones, and to even open packages. Happy customer.
