The front of the device, beneath the brand name, is scratched up. Functionally, the device seems to work well, but it produces a very annoying, seemingly random crackling noise. This is not acceptable for most people who would purchase this device. Therefore, this device is faulty and useless. Do not purchase!

Działa bezbłędnie - zgodnie z przeznaczeniem USB-C -> Toslink. Dzięki urządzeniu dźwięk jest idealnie przekazywany z komputera na głośniki bez zakłóceń, bez trzeszczenia, bez przydźwięków (ale czego innego spodziewać się po cyfrowej transmisji po światłowodzie) - dla mojego niemelomańskiego ucha idealnie.

It does not sing or dance by itself, but it transmits audio perfectly which I am guessing is the reason one would purchase this kind of things in the first place. All I had to do to plug it in (tested with an Arch Linux box) and it promptly appeared as a new audio card. The sound quality is excellent. The adapter has a rather industrial look but is very small and so easy to hide. I appreciate that it provides both optical and coaxial output. The value for money is very good. Overall I am very happy with my purchase.

excellent produit - conforme à mon attente

It worked right out of the box. I'm taking audio out of a micro PC USB port and connecting to my receiver's optical-in port. Music is great. I'm not experiencing any extraneous noises or any transfer issues.
