Why did not not get one sooner, works great, very fast on making ice. Easy to clean. It is a bit noisy at night, and does not keep ice very cold. It will melt and then make more, but it works for me, I love it. I’ve had it almost two years and no problems.

Noise level is minimal. Doesn't take up lots of space. Lightweight and very durable. Matches my other appliances as far as looks go. This little jewel makes a lot of ice. I highly recommend. I put off buying one for our camper for a long time and finally took the plunge. I wish I had bought this sooner. Don't worry about bullet ice, it keeps in your drink a lot longer than bagged ice does.

I love this ice maker. It’s a true workhorse. I often forget to turn it off before bed and it’s never had an issue keeping up. The cleaning isn’t so easy. I do feel like it’s hard to get the water out without tipping it upside down but you don’t have to clean it much if you use clean water. I’ve had it for a few months now and it stays on all day every day - at least 6 hours a day. The ice cubes are great size but they do melt fairly quick. It takes about 15-20 mins to get a decent collection but I turn it on first thing when I wake up if I didn’t accidentally forget to turn it off the night before.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: We purchased this icemaker to put on our counter because our refrigerator doesn’t have a built-in icemaker and we were tired of filling up the ice trays. This definitely helps with the production of ice and we just have a bucket in our freezer that we put it into and a scoop, and we can scoop it out and it creates it much faster. The only downfall for me is the icemaker doesn’t keep the ice cold so it creates it but then you just have to put it in the freezer right away. The product size is great. It looks beautiful and it’s very. Wise we can fill it up with water to the max and have full ice in about 30 minutes so I speed is very fast. It’s easy to use and easy to clean.

So happy I bought this. Love not having to make or buy ice anymore. Works great and is pretty compact.

I had a different countertop ice maker for 4 years. I thought it was great! This one is better. My old one was a lot bigger, which meant that I could add more water and didn't have to empty the ice basket as often...except that the first batch of ice was always half-melted before the basket got full, so it was actually not better to have a bigger basket. (As an ice-eater, I loved to eat the half-melted ice at the bottom and would only scoop the top half out to put into the freezer, but it was not exactly efficient for making ice!) And I REALLY appreciate that it takes up a lot less space on my countertop! I also like that the heat vents are on the sides, instead of at the back. It's better for heat-rejection because with back vent, heat gets trapped behind the machine, and there just isn't as much airflow behind the machine as there is to the sides. Be aware, though, you must give your machine plenty of space and airflow or it won't be able to get rid of heat, which is the process by which it cools the water enough to freeze. In other words, it won't make ice! Or it will be very thin. In the summer, I keep two 2L bottles of water in the fridge to fill the ice maker with. It definitely helps to make ice very fast when the water starts out chilled. Room-temperature water is a lot warmer in our house in the summer than is best for making ice. I have quickly filled my freezer with ice, probably twice as fast as with my old ice maker. I can't really explain why. I think I always had my old one set on "large," which takes longer, but this new ice maker makes the same size of ice cube in less time. As long as I remember to empty the basket every time I walk past, I just fill up the ice bin in my freezer really fast! Hot tip: never use up all your ice from your freezer bin. Make sure it's all loose in the bottom before adding fresh ice from the ice maker basket. The fresh ice is wet on the outside, so when you put it in the freezer, that moisture will freeze to other objects. They'll freeze to the bottom of your bin, too. But if you keep a loose layer of ice in the bottom of the bin, you can pick up the whole clump of ice cubes, then bang them back into the bin, and they usually break up into individual cubes again fairly easily. I break up the top layer of frozen-together ice cubes every time before I add fresh ice from the ice maker. Otherwise you will end up with a giant block!

I bought this several months ago, rather than buying a new fridge with an ice maker. It has been steadily churning out ice day after day. Great product!
