Would have given it 5 stars if it wasn’t for the smell
It works well, but smells like hay. After 2 months of daily use, it still smells like hay. For me, I heat it up for about 3-3.5 minutes, it stays hot for about 15 min. There is an elastic band that helps keep it in place.

Stays warm longer
I recently purchased this neck warmer to replace one I had bought a couple of years ago. This one works much better in a couple of respects. The first one I bought could get so hot in the microwave that it could burn you. This one does not seem to get as hot, so it's safer to use. More importantly, this new one holds the heat several times longer than my first one. It also wraps nicely around your neck to stay in place better. And it has a nice aroma when it is heated.
