Almost perfect fit - make sure you're either reusing the factory clips or bend the new ones inwards. The clip posts are slightly wider than factory, so if you force it, you'll break it. Otherwise, looks factory and I'm very happy with it. Installed with Alpine iLX-W650 head unit.

What a pain this thing was. The fit on the dash was fine, but the opening for the stereo was not sufficiently tall enough for the ATOTO A6 PF I was installing to sit flush against the inside face of the kit. The area between the stereo and the HVAC controls has a small notch along it for the stereo to slide in and butt up against the inside face, but I ended up needing to remove material from the already thin area in order to squeeze the head unit in. It looks okay-enough for an 18 year old Jeep, but took the right tools and a lot of effort to get it to fit. I also had to modify the plastic brackets that secure the stereo to the dash in order to allow it to sit low enough and at the correct angle to fit the opening. Easy enough because they're plastic, but shouldn't have been necessary. And boy does the stereo sit low. It's literally resting on top of the HVAC control unit. There's plenty of height in the cavity, I don't know why this has to sit so low. The wiring harness and antenna adapter were fine, and once installed with my stereo they work exactly as expected. I received a couple of pieces of adhesive foam as well, but as there are no instructions I didn't know what they were for. The finish looks good and matches the factory dash piece well. No issues with installing clips (I re-used the factory clips) or getting it installed (once the modifications mentioned above were made). The plastic is nice and sturdy, and I mounted a 20mm ball adapter to the side with no issues. Removing the factory top tray and plastic welding it to the new kit was interesting, but ultimately didn't cause any issues. An old 30 watt soldering iron did the job just fine. There are definitely differences between this kit and the Metra kit. Knowing what I know now I'd have definitely paid the extra $20 and waited a few more days to get the Metra kit instead, but now that it's modified and installed it's not worth replacing it. Note that on this kit the cutout for the HVAC controls is not rounded. The Metra kit is rounded, and the pictures of this kit installed in the product listing showing rounded corners in the HVAC control area are not accurate (and probably of the Metra kit).

This was a perfect dash replacement for a double den for my Jeep TJ. The seller sent quickly. It was nice having the extra items that this came with. Would suggest the seller an item to any Jeep TJ owner wanting a double den stereo.

Did not come with top portion insert. Had to do some minor trimming due to the Double Din system I picked up is wider than the dash opening. Other than that itβs a good fit to my 2006 jeep LJ. ππ»

Stereo does not fit hole. Have to cut a lot of material off to make it fit. Stereo does not sit flush because it has a curved surface. Very time consuming to install. Not an easy install.
