I bought this to mount a 13 inch Apple laptop on for cycle training … to use with a turbo smart trainer. The laptop fits perfectly … no additional space for a larger laptop but fine for this. There is a small up-stand to give extra protection to laptop slipping off plus an elastic strip and a light foam base. The top is well made and I was able to fit it on to a tripod I owned. It’s very good and recommended.

It's a good product and I don't regret my purchase. The build quality of the plate seems quite good and the screw and its adaptor fit well onto my tripod. It would be perfectly fine for a projector or for a laptop which is view only. It doesn't work so well for my intended use - as a kind of temporary standing desk for my laptop. This is because it is not so stable if you are typing hard on the laptop. To be fair, this is partially because the rigidity of the plate is less than I expected, but also possibly my tripod isn't the best. However, for such modest outlay, I don't regret the purchase and am now using it quite a bit with a handheld gaming keyboard.

This is just what I was missing in my garden astro adventure.I use this next to my rig to hold my amazon tablet and other bits of astro gear. No real complaints with this actually.It has a ridge to stop stuff falling off and is covered in foam to damped the sound if you drop something on it.I was a bit skeptical about the mounting point but it seems sturdy enough for the weight of my additional gear. Worth the buy imo.

Simple piece of kit but does the job. The lip on the tray and band that comes with the it make it almost impossible to knock your laptop off. I use it for Zwift on my laptop and it's a good buy as long as you already own a tripod.

Fed up of juggling my phone (for controlling my mount) and tablet (for controlling my camera) or putting them on the ground and kneeling on wet grass, I bought this pallet to put on a tripod next to my telescope. It's simple, but does the job. I've knocked off a star because (a) it's quite pricey for what it is, and (b) it's difficult to screw in the tripod quick release plate sufficiently firmly to stop it rotating around - some rubber or cork on the base of the pallet would help address this.

Basically a metal tripod tray with a bit of nonslip foam and a flimsy piece of elastic to hold a projector on. Does what I need it to do to mount my projector onto but wouldn't want to use it for day to day use as it doesn't secure the projector well enough. For home use its adequate.

One reason I bought this was to use for product photographs and this fits the bill perfectly ,obviously it has many other uses from laptop to projector etcExceptional value and really good quality .Very pleased

Works a treat with my sturdy camera tripod. Simple, neat and rather elegant alternative to low table, propping up books and fiddling with keystone!
