Legit, just know that listed kerf & plate thickness for blade are not correct.
Been using it for a week in a TrackSaw to cut rough plywood and lumber & I have been very impressed with the cut. I will buy again.* If kerf & plate thicknesses are important to you then you should know that on Tenryu's official site they list the kerf/plate thickness of this blade as .087 / .063 or (2.2mm / 1.6mm). But according to my measurement, and a phone call with Tenryu, what is currently listed on their website is wrong for this blade. They checked both a sampling of blades in stock and official records while I waited on phone and admit the site info needs to be changed (for this blade). The actual Kerf/Plate size is .094 / .063 (2.38mm / 1.6mm).** You can disregard the above - Tenryu has since updated their specs on their web site to .094 / .063.

Blade went through maple without any bogging down of my TS55. The kerf is just slightly wider than the Festool blades but not enough to affect the splinter guard on my tracks.

Great blade for rough work.
This is a very nice blade for rough cutting wood. I use it to split rough sawn boards down to 8" or less in width in order to get them through my jointer. It is a quality lower cost blade.

Brilliant, rip with no effort
Did not expect a lot, was surprised how well rip cuts are done, lille effort and very little saw marks.

Very good quality blade. Awesome pricing as well compared to festool.

Perfect rip blade for your Festool TS55-REQ
I just used this blade to rip two thick boards of American Beech, and some smaller boards of Southern Yellow Pine. It cut through both like butter. No burns or tear out. Better yet, unlike the Festool panther rip, this Tenryu has an identical kerf to my crosscut, so it doesn't eat up my splinter gaurd. This means you don't need to shell out the cash for a designated rip track.
