The bracket is excellent, creates a great mount point for the Gladiator. BUT, the included phone mount hardware is impractical for a couple reasons (not a quick mount, and dual ball adjusters for a heavier phone will never work). So, I bought some 1/4-20 1/2” bolts & M6 1/2” bolts (threading is both metric and US for some reason) from Lowes, and discarded the included screw mounting. Then I screwed on a metal flat plate (after drilling some screw holes in it) that allows for a standard adhesive magnet mount (ASIN B096V6DCS1). I’m actually thinking about buying an extra solution for the passenger side! * Note: I did have to take an 1/8th” off the US bolt (used a Dremel). * Note: The extra flat plate is not required for a standard magnet mount. BUT, a mounted phone slightly obstructs the driver’s view. IMO, there’s too much view obstruction already in these cars.
