El TomTom GO Classic Lite de 6” es de esos dispositivos que no intentan impresionar con artificios, sino que van directamente a lo importante: llevarte de un punto A a un punto B sin complicaciones. Nada más sacarlo de la caja se nota que está pensado para quien quiere un GPS tradicional, fiable y fácil de usar, sin depender del móvil ni de aplicaciones externas. Pantalla grande y clara, incluso a pleno sol Uno de sus grandes puntos fuertes es la pantalla de 6 pulgadas. Es amplia, luminosa y se lee muy bien, tanto de día como de noche. Los mapas se ven claros, con los carriles bien diferenciados y las indicaciones de giro fáciles de entender. Si te cuesta leer pantallas pequeñas o simplemente quieres echar un vistazo rápido sin distraerte demasiado, este tamaño se agradece muchísimo. Navegación sin líos El funcionamiento es muy intuitivo. En pocos minutos ya sabes moverte por los menús, introducir direcciones o guardar lugares frecuentes. Las rutas se calculan rápido y las instrucciones de voz son claras y naturales. No abruma con opciones innecesarias: todo está donde esperas que esté, algo que se valora especialmente si no te llevas bien con la tecnología. Tráfico y avisos que realmente ayudan Aunque sea la versión “Lite”, cumple bien en el día a día. Los avisos de tráfico y las sugerencias de rutas alternativas ayudan a evitar atascos sin volverte loco con notificaciones constantes. También avisa de límites de velocidad y cambios importantes en la carretera, lo que aporta un extra de tranquilidad, sobre todo en viajes largos o por zonas que no conoces. Ideal para quien quiere un GPS de los de siempre Este TomTom es perfecto para quien prefiere un dispositivo dedicado en lugar de usar el móvil, ya sea para ahorrar batería, evitar distracciones o no depender de la cobertura. Es un GPS honesto, sin florituras, que cumple con lo que promete: navegación fiable, pantalla grande y manejo sencillo. Conclusión: práctico, cómodo y sin complicaciones El TomTom GO Classic Lite 6” es una muy buena opción si buscas un GPS para coche fácil de usar, con buena visibilidad y que funcione siempre que lo necesites. No pretende ser el más avanzado del mercado, pero sí uno de los más prácticos. Y a veces, eso es justo lo que hace falta.

I have an 11 year old Honda Accord, 2 litre vetec, inclusive of Sat Nav. 5 years ago the mapping went black although verbal directions were as normal. 2 months later it suddenly came back and remained perfect until recently when it failed again (fortunately at the end of a journey where I didn't need it!) Having contacted a Honda main dealer near me, I was informed that it would have to undergo tests on a special peice of equipment which would cost £156 plus parts or replacement, dependant upon findings. I poiltely declined the said offer and bought this little beauty for £129!. I spent another £14.99 on a dashboard mat to stick it on and placed it in the cavity where the old sat nav is housed. It is brilliant. I am in my 80's and am some what short of the nous of a 10 year old when it comes to technology. However, after getting over a short lived panic attack, I decided to follow the initial set up instructions which led me to the mapping. I then started pressing buttons on screen and very quickly I realised how flipping simple it is to acquire the info needed plus a lot more. There are negative reviews on here regarding this product. I would respectfully suggest some maybe frivolous and others genuingly in awe of what 'difficult to understand without pages full of usually complicated instructions' really means. A bit of common sense is all that is really required and this little beauty will serve all needs in navigation! It comes with a usb lead which you insert into a cigarette lighter adapter, and for anybody still struggling the other end into back of Sat Nav and if you have a Samsung phone, you can use that to save having to move it wherever you go. You can also purchase a hard case to keep it safe. All in all a really worthwhile buy and very good value. If you need one. Buy it!

Tolles Gerät, vor allem Dank TomTom Traffic, was ich sehr schätze und auch gleich abonniert habe. Entsprechende Staus werden angezeigt und mögliche Ausweichrouten rechtzeitig angezeigt bzw. angesagt. In meinem Fall für PKW halt, nicht für LKW, denn die kämen an manchen Strecken noch nicht mal 100 Meter weit. Die integrierten Warnungen vor stationären Blitzern funktionieren auch einwandfrei, werde dafür aber wohl kein weiteres Abo abschließen, weil ich anderweitige Alternativen dazu nutze. Ansonsten ist die Haptik und Bedienung des Gerätes sehr gut, vor allem in Kombination mit My Drive Connect für Windows. Kartenupdates und andere Stimmen sind sehr einfach zu installieren. Leider muss das Gerät dazu per USB an den PC und es geht nicht per Wi-Fi via Smartphone. Also raus aus dem Auto und danach wieder rein. Der Fahrspurassistent ist allerdings ein wenig fragwürdig. In meinem Fall führt mich dieser ständig auf die linke Fahrspur, obwohl meine Autobahnauffahrt auf der rechten Spur liegt. Das ist ein Relikt von vor ein paar Jahren, was es wohl noch nicht bis zu TomTom geschafft hat. Allerdings verweisen die Pfeile auf dem Display dann doch den richtigen Weg. Kurios dabei: Immer wieder entdecke ich genau an dieser Stelle nicht heimische Fahrzeuge, welche die linke Spur benutzen. Ist wohl ein allgemeines Problem vieler Navigationsgeräte bzw. deren Karten und Fahrspurassistenten. Und dann knuddelt es sich an der Auffahrt, weil sich viele zu spät nach rechts einfädeln wollen. Es handelt sich hierbei von Olpe kommend um die Autobahnauffahrt Olpe zur A45 in Richtung Gießen/Frankfurt. Sehr praktisch allerdings ist, wenn man immer wieder die gleichen Strecken fährt, erkennt das Gerät dies automatisch und startet umgehend die entsprechende Routenplanung. Ok, wenn man eine Strecke kennt, wäre das eigentlich überflüssig, aber mit Baustellen- und Stauankündigung samt Umfahrungsmöglichkeiten macht das durchaus wieder absoluten Sinn. Einziges Manko: Man kann keine anderen Stimmen auswählen als jene aus dem TomTom-Shop, und der ist sehr mager ausgestattet. Das sollte der Hersteller mal dringend nachbessern oder - wie früher - wieder externe Stimmen zulassen. Denn die verfügbaren Stimmen sind allesamt sehr eintönig, da gibt in Zeiten von AI und KI viel bessere Möglichkeiten.
