Shure builds great products. This boom stand is no exception. I love the extra lengths Shure goes through in their packaging insuring that everything arrives safely and undamaged. Do keep in mind if you order this boom that it is "low profile" so your mic mounts upward from the stand. I also love how Shure built the boom so that it conceals the mic cable. Easy to assemble and mount to your desk.

This was exactly what I was looking for. I needed a stand for a mic, but one that can fit under my monitor but also have enough height to swing out over some of my other accessories when I need to use the mic. This fits that bill perfectly. I was surprised by the weight of the arm when it was delivered. The pictures on Amazon had me thinking it would be plastic, but it's made of sturdy metal. It has metal plates that you can pull off to reveal a place to run your XLR cable through with some thoughtful placement for the holes. Very clean aesthetically.

I'm not going to claim that these aren't low-profile, but they can't hold form. Maybe the one I was sent is defective? It says fully adjustable, but at what cost of time and effort? The ball and socket joint only allow for certain angles of freedom. The mic can be spun all day, but you just need it to face you so that works. Once I tighten to a spot I like, it then goes limp and goes back to the state of least fight against gravity. My cheap $10 boom mic arm has springs that allow it to be adjusted to literally every direction and hold its shape. The thing is pretty but a mechanical failure.

It works and you can clamp onto your desk easily and attach the shure microphone easily enough, however, it is not very strong and struggles to hold the weight of the microphone and you have to seriously tighten the knobs on the arm to make sure it’s as tight as possible so that the arms don’t collapse. The low profile is nice and I like how there is an option for some cable management within the arm itself

I love it, it’s sturdy and reliable. Didn’t have issues installing it. Loved the wire compartment. Value for money is great. Coming to the ease if movement, from time to time you need to tighten the joints. Especially because i use it a lot. So it becomes lose. But it’s fine.

I really wanted this one, but wasn’t as sturdy as I would have liked. The bottom adjustment joint kept coming apart, and it was difficult to tighten it. I’m not sure if the bolts were stripped or if the screw was stripped, but I couldn’t get tighten. I went with a screwless option.

My first mic boom, so I don't know how to compare it. I felt it was a little loose or wobbly when first set up, but it's holding my Vocaster XLR mic and is easily repositioned without sagging in any orientation. Stability. That's what I was concerned with. I love the magnetic cable covers. Decent range of motion for being low slung. I'm tall, so being able to orient the mic mattered too.

アームの強さはかなりしっかりしており見た目も高級感ありかなりがっしりしてます ちなみにケーブルを中に入れることができる構造でカバーは上面です 配線カバーは磁力で装着するのですが磁力がかなり強めなためアームを動かした際のケーブルの干渉で外れることはなかなかないと思います そのため外すのに力が多少いるので非力な方はテコの原理などで外したほうが安全です 使っているマイクがSM7dbということでこのマイクアームを選んだのですがトレンドマークが黄緑色でプリントされているので個人的にはマイクと同じように黒プリントだったらありがたかったです デスクカラーを統一している人はもしかしたら気になるポイントかもしれません そこを除けば総じてとても良いマイクアームだと思います
