Eastman 1/2 Inch IPS Pipe Repair Clamp, 3 Inch Length, Stainless Steel, 45181

Initially I installed the Moen Eco Flow without this and it did not provide enough coverage because my water outlet is low in my shower. With this installed it looks great and the combination performs flawlessly. Easy install for any competent person. Shower arm puts the water one foot above my head and the Moen Eco Flow head brings off about 4 or 5 inches. So it is about 8 inches above y head, I am 5'8".Works well with a shower rack because of the fact that it cannot slip off.Would buy again.

This worked perfect for what I needed to stop a leak on my copper pipe did all the measurements needed to find the right size which is super important if you want to have this work right after using was able to turn on water and no leaks after very happy and would fully recommend.

Did the job until I had a plumber repair the issue. If you have old plumbing issues it’s wise to have a few of these on hand.

I bought two of these in a span of one week from this supplier. The first one worked great, the second one was back ordered. It is clear that the second one came from a different supplier. The retaining bolt did not fit, nor was it long enough for an inch and a half pipe. Very little surface area when it came to sealing surface. You could tell that the China Supplier tried to make the retaining bolt work/fit, because you could see where they had to grind on it. We also had to take a die grinder to make the bolt fit. This clamp could not even stop the static water leak (zero pressure), much less anything with pressure behind it. Waste of money and time. I cannot recommend these new clamps. Stop buying junk from China!

My main waterline cracked. I turned off the water at the meter and at the house, and ran a hose between my neighbor's house and mine until this arrived. Then I put this on the crack, and it allowed me to resume using my water line until a plumber could come 2 weeks later to replace it.

Didnt work and had to hold the bolt with vise grips

Website description is very lacking about what these clamps are and aren't intended for. They're too large to fit on copper pipes of the appropriate internal diameter, but they're sized to fit over thicker walled galvanized pipes.
